Overall excellent experience. Food is the highlight for sure: incredible variety and quality for the buffet. The water villas are great. Some wood panels are a little old and would benefit from renovation, but it's really a nitpick.

Paradise

A well maintained very expensive all inclusive resort. They have challenges with their food diversity and quality. It is extremely inconsistent.

The property is nice and the surroundings are excellent. The quality of food, however, needs to be much better. The fish, chicken, or beef they prepare is usually very hard, dry and salty. It is a matter of the chef's preferences for how to cook not the products themselves, however. A small selection of salads. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the food quality only 5. The snorkeling equipment is of low quality, so it is better to bring your own if someone wants to enjoy observing underwater life. The personnel is nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The TV is in the room but with a very very limited number of channels to watch. In a 5 stars resort, it should be the much better selection.

My husband and I stayed at the Cocoon resort for three days and we had a very good time there. The staff was very nice, welcoming, and friendly. The beach and snorkeling was amazing. The only thing we didn’t like is how far the resort is from the Male airport. We waited almost 3 hours at the Male airport for a seaplane that took about 30 minutes to reach the hotel. On our way back to the airport, at the end of our vacation, the seaplane got delayed and we spent about an hour on that super noisy plane cause it made a transit stop that no one had told us about before. Which made us extremely late for our flight and we checked in only 30 minutes before take off. It was a nerve wracking experience.

Juste magnifique

From the seaplane transfer to our ward welcome from Elmar we had an amazing holiday. We loved the beautiful clean, green island with gorgeous white sand beaches and azure lagoon. The staff were absolutely amazing and caring without exception, not something I can say about any other place we’ve stayed. The manager was always visible and helped out the staff with drinks and clearing tables and actively socialised with guests. a remarkable example to his staff. The Octopus restaurant was fabulous with so much excellent choices of food and the house wine on the all inclusive was very drinkable Nazim was always on hand. The Loabi Loabi bar was great for lunchtime drinks, sundowners and in the evenings with service on hand from friendly staff whose names are too many to mention, to keeping your glass refilled with great cocktails. There was entertainment every evening which was great. The sunset bar was nice but could be so much more with a bit of work. The snorkelling was ok we were lucky enough to be in a beach villa opposite an area where there was an abundance of great fish to see including stingrays, black rays, sharks and turtles. You can take a free boat to the house reef twice a day. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they had decorated our table and staff were congratulating us all day on our celebration and to top it off Abdullah had decorated our bed with flowers and congratulations. A truly lovely two weeks.

Exceptional resort! Spacious villas, clean and modern design. Fresh, delicious food with a lot of diversity of meats and seafood, fruits and vegetables! The best deserts selection too! Amazing staff and very caring and attentive service! Highly recommended!

The room was great and food is very good, the staff is very friendly, especially with the kids. They should have more things for the kids to do when it is raining, as the kids' area is a bit disappointing

Amazing manager & staff. Thank you for everything

L’ Atollo è meraviglioso e la struttura moderna, di design e pulita. La barriera corallina è lontana, ma in compenso ogni giorno ci sono due uscite in barca e gratuite di snorkeling con maestri. L’isola é veramente incantevole, molto pulita e curata. Le camere offrono ogni comfort, hanno la canonica doccia all’esterno,molto piacevole, un letto di design, anche se il materasso è abbastanza duro. La pulizia avviene 2 volte al giorno,alla mattina entro le 11 ed all sera alle 20. La spa è piccolissima, ma le massaggiatrici sono molto competenti e brave. Il ristorante a buffet Octopus ha un livello medio, mentre il ristorante overwater alla carte “Manta” serve piatti principalmente italiani ed ha una qualità ottima. I prezzi nei vari ristoranti e bar sono nella media, e sono indicati già inclusivi di tasse e servizio. Durante la giornata sono organizzate varie attività ed alla sera musica dal vivo, dj e karaoke al bar principale “Loabi Bar”. Alla reception per essere un 5 stelle sono talora distratti e poco attenti alle esigenze del cliente, mentre il personale dei ristoranti e bar è efficiente. Nel complesso ospita un gran numero di persone, famiglie e bambini compresi, senza alcun tipo di distinzione nella sistemazione di famiglie e coppie. Perciò chi fosse alla ricerca di un certo senso di tranquillità e isolamento, soprattutto nei periodi di altissima stagione, ne deve tenere conto. Si tratta di una struttura buona che con piccoli accorgimenti sarebbe davvero ottima.
