Great Place to visit as a couple, friendly staff, and magical moments

Friendly welcoming and perfect resort for families and couples. The all inclusive option is a great. Rooms are well kept and good size with beautiful views. Options of both over water and beach villas - over water pool villa was the better option. Cannot fault it and would definitely recommend.

Oh my gosh, my stay was absolutely incredible! I can’t recommend it enough. Saif was our lifesaver! We were so stressed out about everything, but Saif took care of it all. We were kept in the loop about everything, and it was so much easier to relax and enjoy our time. The buffet was a bit of a mixed bag, but the themed restaurants were amazing! The Italian restaurant was my favourite, especially the prawn starter. It was to die for! The Far Eastern and Arab/North African restaurants were also great. The shuttle service was fantastic! It ran every 10-15 minutes, both clockwise and anti-clockwise, and there was an app that tracked your next shuttle. That was so convenient! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. They were always there to lend a hand or answer any questions we had. We even got a free 45-minute massage (head, neck, shoulders, and back) as a perk. And for an extra $30, we could get a full-body massage. Yum! We had a sunset cruise booked, but unfortunately, it was canceled because of the rough weather. But we didn’t mind. We had a great time anyway! Overall, it was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

A really lovely resort for couple or with family. Plenty of dining option. Perfect place to relax. Lovely staff. Very welcoming and helping people. Had no issues with them at all. Full privacy in all villas. Gave us complimentary honeymoon package.

Most remarkable resort I’ve stayed at.

Une île paradisiaque avec des employés exceptionnels. Belle plage presque tout le tout de l’île avec du sable fin. Une eau chaude et assez claire pour y voir des poissons, des raies, une pieuvre et un petit requin inoffensif. Avoir un budget illimité j’y retournerais :)

It was an amazing stay at Raaya. Staff were super friendly and caring. Thank you Shashika and Mithun for your kind support. We sincerely appreciate your hospitality. Koodos to the F&B manager Tyagi for his excellent team. His all day dining manager Mohan also very helpful and extremely responsive. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

The island is lovely great staff, it has a good selection of food and drinks. It is let down but the arrivals/departures. They do not tell you your flight times until the day of and we ended up waiting in the airport for 3 hours on arrival and a further 5 hours on departure. On arrival they do offer a lounge but on departure nothing is offered and you can't even check your bags as it's soo early so it's a long wait in a very loud airport.

Everything was perfect from the moment we landed at Valena international airport to the moment we left. The Villa, the Staff, the food, the view, the whole resort, the Team at Raaya certainly made it memorable ☺️

Einfach perfekt! Es fehlte uns an nichts! Angefangen von dem begleiteten Transfer zum Wasserflugzeug am Flughafen Malé über den charmanten Empfang mit Trommeln und Palmschmuck im Resort, dem sehr netten Host, Saraah, der uns beim Checkin zur Seite stand, das ganze Resort mit dem E-Trolley-car zeigte und uns während des ganzen Aufenthalts via WhatsApp behilflich war, wenn es um Buchungen für Restaurants, Massagetermine, Schnorcheltripps oder Fotografentermin (übrigens alles in unserem gebuchten Paket inbegriffen) ging, bis hin zur äußerst sauberen und komfortablen Beach-Villa mit Pool, deren Zimmerservice exzellent war. Hervorzuheben ist auch das Restaurantangebot mit seinem delikaten Speise- und Getränkeangebot. Neben dem Hauptrestaurant, wo 3x täglich ein reichhaltiges Buffet keine Wünsche offen ließ, gab es noch 3 à-la-carte-Restaurants (arabisch, italienisch, asiatisch), die jedes für sich eine andere Athmospähre bot. Auch das Nachhaltigkeitskonzept ist zu erwähnen, das auf Wasser aus eigener Produktion in Glasflaschen, Recycling aller Abfälle und kostenlosen Fahrrädern oder E-Bussen zur Fortbewegung bestand. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Raaya! The free transfers as well was a great perk. We were greeted at the airport in Male and were taken to where we were supposed to go for the seaplane transfer. The resort itself was gorgeous, everything about it was incredible, staff was super nice and helpful. We had Saif as our guide throughout our stay and he was great.

Everything was so beautiful, just like in the pictures. We enjoyed our trip and loved the water villa. It was nicely decorated and very very clean. The à la carte dining and spa experience were an upgrade from the normal all-inclusive. Not to mention the seaplane! We found that the service in the restaurants was not always good. Some of the staff seemed a little rude and unhappy. On the other hand, some of the staff went above and beyond with their service. It's a shame I don't remember their names. I’m sharing my experience because the level of service was inconsistent, varying quite a lot, and that's not something you would expect in a 5-star hotel. The setting is great, but there is room for improvement.

Absolutely spectacular, the whole experience was magical. Staff were brilliant, restaurants great, gym facilities good. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever, fantastic!

Loved every moment … amazing island and outstanding villas

We travelled to Raaya in Jan 2025 for our anniversary for 5 nights and our stay was amazing! The Raaya staff we always friendly, accommodating and wanting to help us. There is a selection of different food available and activities / excursions that can be arranged. A memorable and plansant stay and would definitely come again. Special thanks to Dana our island host who was always available to help and made our stay worry free. We had a smooth arrival and departure via seaplane. Thanks to Jahid for providing excellent house keeping, the friendly staff at the dive centre for our excursions and also staff at the restaurants Himashun, Chanchal, Suriya and Sharif for great shuttle service on the island. We had lovely sunny weather and were told there were some rainy days prior to arrival. We stayed in a water villa which was lovely and peaceful, regularly cleaned. We would definitely recommend this island of paradise and hope to return! Thank you.
