From the beginning, there was a serious water leak in our room that flooded the floor. We were given a new room, which we appreciated. However, this room was also affected by a leak from the room above, with water coming through the bathroom ceiling. We also experienced a loss of electricity in our room on one occasion, and another day there was no water in the bathroom for all guests. On the positive side, we want to highlight that the maintenance team responded quickly each time and tried to fix the issues promptly. We have also been patient and cooperative throughout our stay, and we asked for compensation due to the inconvenience. We were told we would receive a response within 2–3 days, but we have not heard back. Overall, while staff responsiveness was good in the moment, the number of serious issues and the lack of follow-up regarding our complaint affected our overall experience.

Property is okay, but it’s not really a resort. And there is no gym.

Amazing view of the bay from the hotel bar, restaurant and infinity pool. Rooftop pool with complimentary lounge beds were a big plus. Bar drinks and food very good. Breakfast very good. The location of hotel wasn’t great if you want to do anything besides stay in the hotel as there are no shops, and only one or two bars or restaurants nearby. There is no walkable central area for shopping. We had to travel a lot by Bolt taxi and bus. The hotel would suit a couple on a spa break but would be disappointing if you thought it was near amenities. We had to pay a €200 damage deposit on checking in which we didn’t expect. It was refunded a few days after check out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean with big TV. We didn’t like the mirror over the bed. Not for us!

Das Frühstück könnte man per Karte und auch am Buffet wählen und es war alles frisch.

Wij hadden prachtig uitzicht op zee met ruim balkon. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel en alles was schoon. Ontbijt a la carte en een buffet. Zeker aan te raden, wij hebben daar een fijne tijd gehad. Mooi zwembad op het dak en een binnenzwembad helemaal beneden met toegang tot het strandje.

We had a short stay at the Damare Resort and Spa and I can only describe the experience as exemplary. I booked a Premium Room with hot tub in the room...... outstanding! The Front of House staff were helpful and friendly beyond anything I could expected, from checking us in, late checkouts, advise on landmarks, carrying out a welfare check on a sick friend staying in another room, to the attentive restaurant staff. Because we were there for a Stag Party, we didn't use many of the amenities, but what we did use was great. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely recommend this to my circle.

An absolutely beautiful hotel, rooms and all the hotel spotless. The staff were so polite and helpful always with a smile and couldn’t do enough for you. We ate at both the pub and restaurant and both were superb and reasonably priced. Both pools were lovely and relaxing. It may be a bit far out but lovely and relaxing and we used the buses or bolt to get around. Would highly recommend.

The property is located little bit outside the town but the nearby area here is also very nice. This property offers room at very nice location and with a spectacular view. Special mention to the breakfast offered in the morning which was fresh and as per the choice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this place.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im stilvoll eingerichteten Deluxe-Zimmer mit Bad, Balkon und Meerblick. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das reichhaltige regionale Frühstück mit Buffet und täglicher Auswahl von zwei Gerichten a la carte sowie das freundliche, zuvorkommende junge Team, insbesondere im Restaurant und im Pub.

Vorsaison ist immer schwierig. Aber wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Gäbe es Bonuspunkte für das Personal wäre 10 das Minimum.

The pool was lovely and great view

Excellent place to stay. Was some work going on at the hotel during our stay but to be expected out of season and hardly noticed it in the grand scheme of things. Would highly recommend

The hotel was amazing! The staff were lovely! The room was spotless, incredible! The cleaners were great, came round fresh bedding, towels every day. We stayed bed and breakfast, lovely choice available, really tasty. The food in the restaurant and the pub was outstanding & a really good price! The staff couldn't do enough for you, we got massages in our room & then had an hour in the private indoor cave pool. I will definitely be recommending this hotel and will return myself very soon! Thank you so much!

I booked a little solo getaway and it was so good! The hotel team were so lovely! On call 24/7 .. scheduled a therapist for me .. I booked the cave pool privately.. explored the island a little .. absolutely loved my experience

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. Everything was well organized and relaxing. Highly recommended!
