Cannot help myself 3 times per year for several years now I am booking now for a return in March Please do not change a thing.!

Bathroom was dirty and the ceiling leaked. The beach was fantastic, but there was constantly very loud music.

Room was dirty upon arrival. There was a plastic bag with something in it found under the bed. Rooms are very outdated and poor lighting. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff at the front check-in are not eager to help. We waited for a long time for anyone to come to the front reception desk. We found someone around the corner and they waved us away and proceeded to come to the front desk minutes later. You have to pay to use beach chairs..

Upon checking in, there was no one to greet us due to lobby renovations (which we were not warned about in advance and created a very hectic experience). On checking into the room, it had the strongest smell of mildew of any place we have ever stayed, and we could not stay for health reasons. We found other island accommodations, but the hotel declined to refund any money for the nights we didn't use. We were disappointed by our experience here.

The Cabanas are the best rooms to stay in, you are close to the pool, and not to far too the beach.

Right on the beach , chairs and umbrellas are extra charge . Clean rooms , could use a way to deal with the sand before entering the hotel. . All good for the money

While the property is showing some age, it is being updated and is clean and in a wonderful area. We will definitely be back next year and will stay at the Cabanas!

If you want to be on the beach, have great service and no worries then this is the place to stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cold and you can go on your porch and look at the water and listen to the waves, while coconuts fall from the trees. We stay here every time we come to the island and are NEVER disappointed! The friendliest and most trust worthy staff, who goes out of their way to make feel at home.

Wish the breakfast wouldn't be on a time schedule.

Daily maid service

When we arrived we checked in and were then informed that the hotel was closed for renovations. We were put in another hotel farther from town on the third floor with no elevator. (We had specifically booked ground floor accommodation as my husband and I have mobility issues.). This is terrible business practice. I feel we should be compensated in some way.

No tiene vista a la playa solo que está muy cerca a una casa de la playa. La habitación muy insegura para riesgo de que alguien entre con facilidad. No cuenta con internet en la habitación no wifi . Todo muy básico muy incómodo para pasar días de vacaciones tratando de no preocuparse por nada creo que no lo logre

Our room was basic, but for the price and location it was great! The lady who cleaned our room was AMAZING, we did tip her everyday too so that could make difference. The “other staff” was dismissive and really didn’t care if we were there or not. Remodeling so pool is a no go but there is an optional pool down the road we never went ocean to nice and close. Lots of restaurants and bars around the area and best of all walking distance to the amazing taco trucks! Highly recommend to try them they are all a little different but all very good. We normally stay at Ixchel and LOVE it but price wise couldn’t turn down a cheap quick trip. We rented chairs from the people right down the way for one day then were told about local place to rent the Tommy bahama chairs (that we never sat in always in the water). Had a massage daily by Anna and her team (down by ocean to the left) $50 a day! Love isla and taking morning ride on the golf kart around the island. I would definitely stay here again regardless of the staff caring or not.
