2.5 hours to check in arrived at 5 pm Room needed to be cleaned? Was done while we waited in bar. My friend ordered a martini and was served watered down vodka. No olive, no garnish. 400 pesos approximately 23$ No hot water for 2 days. Service was terrible or worse. So disappointing. Garbage and dishes on the beach left over from New Years I guess? It was the 4th of January when we arrived. Saw 3 people the whole time- same people every day all day working. No real bartender- my friend drank only beer after the first drink. I have stayed here several times and it keeps getting worse. Too bad.

This was one of the best finds in years. Definitely coming back in 2026. This is a beautifully isolated section of the Baja, go here to relax and relax more.

Gorgeous view of the ocean with very good snorkeling on a pristine beach. The grounds were beautiful, staff friendly and accommodating . 2 clean pools available to use. Our room was spacious and very clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Last part of drive into its remote location was dirt with a few rocks and ruts but if you take it slow you should have no issues. Highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful, serene and secluded location. The service in terms of food and food quality was not great. The staff was kind and approachable but seemed to lack training and leadership to deliver a positive experience for guests.

We loved our stay! All the staff were extremely friendly. One thing to be aware of is this property is about 30mins from main road (you get there on a rocky road) we had an SUV and didn’t have an issue. If you are looking for something private and intimate I highly recommend. The hotel has a cute private beach with cabanas that are nice and clean. We loved the paddle boards and snorkeling gear hotel provided (I highly recommend going snorkeling so much fish right around). Food was tasty (tho if you are staying more than 4 days you might be running out of options) and drinks were great! We would definitely return!

Pet friendly un lugar hermoso. Difícil acceso La Palapa que están construyendo en la playa es ostentosa e innecesaria.

The the staff was very helpful and kind, we really enjoyed staying there the access to the beaches close to the room. The pool was very clean both of them. We had a Jacuzzi in our room and the view was spectacular.

The name says it all. Paradise! in a remote location. Staff was great!

Hotel is very out of the way with a rocky dirt road for 45 minutes off the main road. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff were very gracious. Shout out to Kaila, Beatrice, Juan, Yovan, Rosie and Jesus the manager The beach below was beautiful. The snorkeling was great. September is not the best month to visit. We experienced Hurricane Lorena with only minor problems.

We wanted to stay in or near La Paz and Expedia suggested this stay for us with great price arrived 2 days late on a 4 night stay due to rain along the very, very long trip far from civilization. driver kept commenting that it was not near La Paz. Additionally there was a heavy rain along the ridges of a mountain we were crossing and a big rock fell on the taxi’s car. Ended up stayin @ Hotel El Cathedral near the Malecón of La Paz.Highly recommend it. Stayed another night Now back to Hotel Pescadero Cleaning not provided daily. Glass around pool is dirty. Very few staff, they are either in or around the reception desk or at the bar. Sink in my room was almost completely loose Very cheap shower head. 2 water bottle provided in the fridge and are not replaced during your stay No ice machine You’re phones will have very weak signal WiFi is not provided to you so you will have to hang around the bar to get signal Unless you drove yourself there, you will have no connection to any nearby store you will forced to buy everything at the bar. There is nothing nearby just desert. And empty beaches which are full of rocks and seashells. You can rent an atv or use kayak it is not free. Uber does not work out there either. There is no ride service available when you try searching. If you want to go to the next town over you have to pay 200 round trip There was a 2 sec blackout. You had to ask for more toilet paper. There is no ATM machine. If you drive there be careful

Bella struttura ma lontano da tutto (un pò difficile da raggiungere si consiglia SUV per affrontare uno sterrato di un pò di kilometri). La stuttura è anche un pochino datata (non tutto funziona), ma belle le due piscine (che si possono utilizzare anche la sera) e il ristorante funziona davvero bene (ottimi cibi messicani). Paesaggio incantevole. Colori del mare caraibici e snorkeling che merita.

El hotel tiene una ubicación privilegiada con respecto al paisaje que lo rodea. Es hermoso en sus instalaciones y tiene vistas inmejorables de la playa y el mar que lo rodea. Sin embargo el costo de esa ubicación es un acceso complicado (recomiendo entrar por El Cardonal y NO por Los Barriles, para que la parte de camino que se transita sobre terracería sea más corto y menos complicado. El personal tiene múltiples tareas y con todo y ello mantienen una muy amable disposición y hacen un esfuerzo por satisfacer las necesidades de los invitados. La comida se sirve en porciones generosas, las amenidades no son muchas pero son funcionales y bien montadas, la alberca, el bar, el restaurante y el SPA, en lo que nos tocó ver a nosotros. Las habitaciones están actualizadas, con buenos enseres y servicios, y las camas son cómodas. Para un viaje con el propósito de desconectarse del mundo y reconectarse en pareja o familia es ideal.

Not Recommended Unless You’re Prepared While the property location is visually superb , I would not recommend this hotel unless you have a four-wheel drive vehicle and are comfortable with significant shortcomings. The road access is challenging, making arrival tricky without the right car. Unfortunately, the amenities leave much to be desired: the shower only offered a tiny trickle of hot water—cold wasn’t even an option—and service was clearly understaffed (we waited nearly 50 minutes for a simple omelette at breakfast). Even more concerning, I found three cockroaches running in my room, which is simply unacceptable and points to major cleanliness and maintenance issues. The place feels neglected, either due to poor management or a lack of staff to perform basic upkeep. Disappointing experience compared to expectations

Staff are amazing helpful,knowledgeable about the area. Place has a great private beach, food/drinks really good.Drive is about 25mins from barriles but worth it rent a 4x4 vehicle if possible rocky road to hotel. Nice pool
