Wonderful room, wonderful staff, great experience

his is a nice little boutique hotel, very clean and super nice staff. It is located just 200 meters from a fabulous beach, just a short walk down the path. It is located in a quieter residential area about a 15 minute walk from the bustle/noise of downtown Del Carmen. Our room had a nice little kitchen and a couple of great balconies where we could watch all the people walking down 5th Ave which is closed to traffic. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts every morning in the attached restaurant.

Room was well kept, a little older and it took awhile for the shower to heat up. Staff were very kind and cheerful despite the language barriers.

Excellent location and food also very authentic and local feel

This hotel is located outside of the touristy area but it’s right on Avenida Quinta which is mostly a walking path and the touristy area is about a 15-20 min walk. The beach is 3 min away and is beautiful. It’s mostly used by locals. The on site restaurant is great and the breakfast choices are numerous and all fantastic as is the coffee and juice. Our suite was very basic but kept extremely clean. All of the staff are absolutely wonderful! The rooftop terrace is nice and has glimpses of the ocean. The area itself is a bit on the rougher looking side but we love the feel of living like a local. There are lots of dogs roaming around barking and fighting with each other but they seem to have no interest in people so this was fine. There are no lounge chairs or umbrellas to rent at the beach so come prepared. There is a pharmacy not far away where you can buy big water bottles. All and all a wonderful stay and a big thank you to all of the staff for making it that way!

Muy buen lugar para hospedarse ya sea en familia, pareja o solo. Desayunos deliciosos, buena ubicación, a 3 minutos de la playa, justo en la quinta avenida y el personal amable. El estacionamiento es el público pero hay un guardia nocturno. Buen precio y recomendable.

Ok the hotel and location is great, breakfast is included with you stay ( the breakfast is good) is very close to beach 88 who is used the majority by locals, is only 2 issue's one is not elevator in the hotel so you have to carry you luggage to you room and the second is parking you have to park in the street when you arrive is not parking by the street due to people using the beach but after the beach close people leave and you have enough space to park. Overall was great and I will come back .

Highly recommend this property. Location is perfect, with next to no traffic, entrance to public beach just across the road, and just a short sraight shot, within walking distance, to 5th Ave. If you're in to exercise, you can literally start your run, walk, biking, etc...right outside your door; you won't be alone, seems to be a common route, as the majority of roadway is pedestrian only. Service is great, very attentive. As others have said, the coffee is delicious, as well as the fresh squeezed orange juice, both of which are included with breakfast, which was included in our stay, for which we could order off the menu; everything is delicious and good serving size. Loved the open air feel/atmosphere of not just the restaurant area, but the stairwell to the rooms, as well. The rooms are plenty spacious, bright, and quiet. Staff did excellent job of keeping our room immaculate every day we were there, fully restocking soap, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, etc... when needed. We loved relaxing in the hammocks on the rooftop. Oftentimes we came in late at night, and each night there was personnel on the other side of the door. This was very reassuring and gave us a sense of security. If in area again, we would definitely stay here again. No complaints and very affordable.

Walking distance to the beach and free breakfast food taste really good, but they need to add more options staff very friendly and courteous

Everything was great. The staff, location. Christian was awesome, helpful, and welcoming. Close to the ocean and to the little shops and cafes. Breakfast was filling and tasty. Next time I will be staying there again if it is possible.

The best location for Playa 88. Its restaurant, La 88 had various options, traditional and modern filling breakfasts. We had shrimp tacos and chicken fajitas for dinner, which they delivered them to our room. Delicious. Two air conditioning units kept the large room and kitchen cool off. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Beer and wine are not sold in the neighborhood marts but the hotel had them available at good price.

Perfect location..close to beach, in house dining with Authentic cuisine and fresh coffee that rivals the best of Starbucks

Like from personal meetings and greeting by the owner to very halpfull stuff and restaurant people. All in all great and very convenient hotel location. Highly recommend 👌

Loved it all, great little hotel would definitely book again. A good walk to the action on 5th ave, if too much for you grab a taxi or collectivo

Hôtel très simple mais bien très propre, grande chambre, bon petit déjeuner et même possibilité de dîner dans une rue calme à quelques pas de la mer,

I am nothing but good to say about this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room is wonderful and it’s 5 min walk away from the ocean and a pleasant 10-15min walk away from all the bars and restaurants. The breakfast is great! Highly recommend!

Food at the restaurant is the best, freshly made to order. Our stay included free breakfast. Christian is very attentive and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Free overnight parking with security guard. The beach is located about three minutes walk. At night, one can enjoy the rooftop.It has hammocks and calming atmosphere. Only con, the restaurant area needs A/C or fans in the Summer heat. We would highly recommend this place.
