Wonderful stay! The location, food, and staff were excellent. We had a fantastic and relaxing stay

Stayed at one of the beach front cabins for 3 nights with my wife. Wonderful rooms with great placement. Quick and comfortable check in to the hotel, were we are told that at this hotel gratuity is included always (15%). Which is fair enough, if service is good. This is a premium priced hotel, $1000+ dollars a night for the beach front cabins. The shock when every employee at every meal then underlines and hints towards you giving more than the already included 15% just makes what should be a relaxed and comfortable stay very tense. Especially when the food is a tad disapointing compared to the rest of the island, its the most expensive on the island and the service is not that great. To top it of, the included breakfast is just a joke. 1/3 of the menu is included. And if you chose the included parts, you get a bill for 0.03$ at the end. So that you can give more gratuity, once again. The eggs at the breakfast were great. And I got asked what I wanted in my omlette, I chose 4 ingredients. Only for the waiter to tell me only two are included. Either just have me pay for breakfast, thats fine or have it totally included. How annoying it is having the waiter using 6 mins breaking down what you have to pay 2, 3 or 4$ extra for? You want cheese, mushrooms, onion AND ham in your omlette? Well.. Thats 6$. Just honestly, get on with it. The constant chase for the small amounts ruined what should have been a 5/5 stay. I would suggets to sort that out asap.

Fantatic! second time staying at Nomade and everything was as expected. Amazin food (fresh fish catch of the day a most) friendly very attentive service with high hospitality standards thank you all but specially to the team at la Popular with fun Rey ( good laughs) , Andy,Daniela, Cristy and Victor. Reception team and everyone at Nomade doing a great job.Kudos to the Management. Devoluxtion at it’s best.If you want peace in a natural environment this is it.Please refrain from booking this property if you like all inclusive hotels, loud music,reggeton,party,big groups of friends or kids.This is a wonderful experience to get in communion with yourself and nature. Thank you

The food is excellent, the setting lovely, the rooms incredibly cramped and awkwardly designed, but most striking was the indifference of many of the staff. So much can be overlooked except for the painfully long waits at the restaurant, or to get a beach towel, or the difficult process to book a (very middling) massage. Also, the strange reliance on paper checks, but QR code menus. The room (we booked a beachfront treehouse) was funky, with an incredible view, lots of steps, the smallest bathroom and least ergonomic shower I’ve ever seen. It also had a balcony with an outdoor shower and steps leading up to a rooftop deck that had a double chaise. There was no chair or table anywhere. The lighting in the bathroom was…well, wasn’t; there was no way I could shave my face unless it was during the day. You’d never be able to satisfactorily apply makeup. Nômade arranged transportation for us from and to Cancun airport. They do not factor cushion time for problems. We very nearly missed the ferry both times. On the way home, it could have easily meant a missed flight and another night stay. We wanted Nômade Holbox to be great. It could be, but it just isn’t.

The place absolutely amazing, we had an amazing stay, we stayed in 2 types of rooms, the lowest category and the highest catergory and we can tell both rooms were comfortable and amazing. We upgraded because we wanted to be oceanfront and it was AMAZING . Service was extremely good and all super friendly. We had dinner and food was super good and portions are generous.i think my only advice is that breakfasts can be a bit better but again it was super good. Thank you for all the staff that made 1000% effort to make our stay memorable.

Let me start off by saying we LOVE Mexico. We have been to many different places and love the boutique hotel experience. We have stayed at Xela and Encantada in Tulum and really thought that we would be getting the same experience at Nomade. Unfortunately that was not the case. We had a pleasant intro with the concierge when we first arrived and then never heard from him or saw him again. We sent Lara an email listing the different experiences we wished to do during our stay and was not contacted by her at all the 5 nights we were there so we did all of our excursions and spa experiences elsewhere. Things were just not up to par. Coffee wasn’t replaced in the room. If you wanted the water bottles refilled you had to carry the empty ones to the bar and have them refilled there. I participated in yoga everyday and two of the days was scolded by the female instructor for not signing in! One of the days I was the only one in class so I am not sure why it mattered. The pool towels are old and you have to request them and only receive one per person. The mosquitos are next level. We always know to expect them but this was out of control. Covered from head to toe in bites and there is literally no escaping them. Since the showers and bathroom are outside it was impossible to relax Sadly we can tell people the island is pretty but can not recommend staying.

Arquitectura Recepción y Comedor padrísimo Alimentos y servicio en el desayuno de lo mejor Alimentos en la comida terribles pero elmsecicio excelente El tema de la yoga por las mañanas es una actividad esencial Habitaciones terribles, no son cómodas, no higiénicas, no limpias, no funcionales El ambiente en general está lleno de moscos y moscas es casi imposible pasar más de 30 minutos al aire libre sí que te pongas en riesgo o por piquetes Camas viejas muy incómodas Cojines huelen a sucio y polvo se ve que nunca los lavan entre huéspedes Sus camas están llenas de pulgas y otros animales Los rapares nunca los limpian son anti-higiénicos La idea de la regadera está padre pero está llena de moscos o incluso el WC Hay un tema sensible, debido a que al llegar te piden depósito en garantía se quedan con tus datos bancarios y días después te hacen cargos sin consentimiento esto es muy delicado para nosotros los clientes Yo rápidamente atendí el tema y levanté una aclaración y la respuesta fue los cobros están bien si requieres más detalle nosotros te contactamos , en mi caso ya levanté aclaración ante el banco para que bloquee mi tarjeta En redes al parecer en un tema recurrente

When you think about a relaxing retreat with style, Nomade is the answer. It’s a truly beautiful experience, starting from the hospitality to the unique rooms. We loved everything: the whole staff is so kind and calls you by name (a lovely detail that makes you feel at home), the room is comfortable and beautifully designed, the beach is quite and clean. The cherry on top? The amazing complimentary classes of yoga and mindfulness. We’ll surely come back soon!

Al inicio estuvimos en una habitación en la que se escuchaba una bomba de agua. En cuanto avisé en recepción, nos cambiaron de cuarto. Muy buena atención al cliente. Recomendaría mucho ir ahi. Es el hotel más bonito de Holbox. Lo único que no me encantó fue la poca variedad de platillos para la comida y cena. El desayuno muy bueno
