This property was beautiful and authentic, perfect Tulum vibes. The waitstaff were amazing and some were even Mayan which was incredible to chat with them about. The front desk staff was ok- they were a bit on their high horse at times and tried to overcharge for a few things we did not use in the room ( read your bill throughly!!). But the waitstaff and chefs I can’t compliment enough ! Excellent with food allergies, requests and got everything right every time. Amazing people.

The service was terrible, it took hours for a drink or breakfast to arrive, and the concierge did not help at all.

I have stayed at Nomade Tulum six times by now. The property is a magical resort tucked away in the jungle. I love everything about this place. A magical experience!

A perfect stay all round. The hotel will be our new place to be in Tulum.

There is no heated water in the pools and no hot tub other than that the location and property are nice! The showers work fine.

Best hotel in tulum

we really enjoyed our stay at nomade. the beach was wonderful and restaurants on-site were stellar. the beach was exquisite and it was easy to get a good spot, at least in the morning. the daily complementary breakfast at macondo was excellent and a nice touch. kuu was amazing and the best meal we had while in tulum. the only activity we did was yoga, which was great, but they offer a lot. it was located close to other restaurants we went to such as arca and wild. the room itself (jungle) was nice and cleaned daily. it was plenty of space for two. the only thing was at night the place turned into a strange club-like atmosphere. one night, there was a line to get back into the hotel with people just trying to go dance at macondo. it was odd for us to try to push through this group to explain we were guests and staying there, and they’d let us in immediately, but it was still strange (they could’ve had a separate line or area for hotel guests to get through quickly, as a suggestion). it also went until around 2am and was audible from our room, but at a level that we still could sleep soundly (as we generally did). also, as a side note, we went to gran cenote and it was quite expensive to get there ($110 USD), as it was somewhat far, but it was a beautiful and a sweet experience. last, all of the staff were great, although the front desk wasn’t always the most helpful. altogether we really liked this hotel!

I did not receive any Expedia VIP benefits. I was charged for the upgrade. The hotel is overpriced for what it offers. Amenities and comfort are limited. The food was decent but was ridiculously priced. Staff was largely indifferent. The room was not comfortable.

Das Nomade liegt unmittelbar am wunderschönen Sand strand, wohnen tut man quasi im Dschungel, alles sehr schick und urban.

Disappointing, the reception service is very poor! Just like the concierge service, it was not satisfactory. The breakfast is not plentiful. The beach service is slow. I could not drink the wine I had received at another hotel because the popular one had an additional charge of 150 dollars. The pool in the room was cold and full of ants around it. There were no corkscrews or wine glasses in the room. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. There was no indoor parking or valet parking. The signage inside the hotel is practically non-existent. All the staff are cold and indifferent and seem to dislike their work. The hotel does not deliver what the customer expects. They did not offer us the VIP Expedia benefits including the 20% discount on consumption. I did not feel welcomed at any time. Everything seemed very pretentious and indifferent. I was sad because I had a good impression from a previous stay at this hotel. Maybe in the future I will give the hotel a second chance. But they need to improve the service a lot.

Nothing was special about Nomade. I have been to Tulum over 20 times, I definitely enjoyed other hotels a-lot more. -Ricardo the conceirge was really nice and Helpful -mideternean restaurant waiter was rude and asked for extra tips at the end after literally we asked him for the check 3 times. We always tipped every where we went but this specific waiter was not professional -Front desk was nice except the last day when we were checking out the bell man didn't come to get our luggage per our instruction, we had to carry our luggages all the way to the front and Receptionist didn't bother neither apologized. -the room is wood floor and had screws and nails coming off the floor at the Aire suite. I won’t be back again. I would rather stay at Papaya playa or Be Tulum. I will not be back to No

We loved our stay at Nômade ! The property is a magical jungle getaway. programming offered is fabulous. Good service and beach set up is fantastic relaxing and luxurious but not pretentious. One pro tip is make sure to research the type of room that best suits your needs as there are any varied options. We had a fabulous bungalow room nestled in a jungle setting. But the glamping tent room with outdoor bathroom is an adventure and might not be for everyone. Lots of other room types are available. I loved the flexibility

Great stay in the treehouse, amazing experience! Beach club was also great, probably one of the best in Tulum. Lovely staff.

The people in service roles at the restaurants and beach are great. Beach situation is great. The administrative staff is not, they’re unresponsive and don’t follow through. It’s overpriced for what it is now and you do not get the hospitality or concierge/service you would at a Belmond, Four Seasons, etc. they offer zero help. We were charged $150 for using the room’s sunscreen supply on the way out… They figured out the playbook on nickle & diming, and not leaving guests wanting to take a return stay.
