This is the perfect place to stay in Bacalar. Each unit has an equipped kitchen so meals can be prepared in room or it is walkable distance to many choices of restaurants. Parking is safe and secure. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast under the palapa is a great start to your day.

Muy bien, de hecho es la tercera vez que me hospedo en esta propiedad.

Tranquilidad en la habitación. Hay seguridad. Estacionamiento. Si te estás de pado conociendo la península es buen lugar para pernocta.

We had a really nice view of the lake. Staff was attentive and site security was good. Rooms look nice but need updates. We lacked hot water and the internet service wi-fi was nonexistent (even after requesting a fix). The hotel was not quiet for a number of reasons, often waking us at night.

Hay tranquilidad, me pareció un lugar super agradable para estar con mi familia además esta céntrico donde puedes ir caminando a varios puntos de interés.

great !!..@! goodPrivacy..greatsecurity. BUT!! rundown exterior buildings. All Concrete walls..EVERYTHING needs to be sealed PAINTED. All pool lounge chairs r broken! Needs replacement. Can use seat cushions on suite patio chairs. Cannot sit on wood for very long

I've stayed here twice now and love it. While they have to manually open the entrance door and car gate there is hardly a delay. It is safe and secure. Will be returning. I just hope they don't replace any more refrigerators with the smaller ones. I prefer the large ones to make ice for my water containers.

Appart hotel avec vu sur la lagune mais sans accès. Les appartements sont très très spacieux. 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Une cuisine ouverte sur le salon. Un deuxième salon. Une grande terrasse. Cuisine tres peu équipée avec seulement 4 assiettes 4 couteaux 4 fourchettes etc. Une plaque de cuisson, un four micro.onde et un frigo.. Une piscine (non testée). Pas de menage. Lhotel est situé à une dizaine de minutes a pied du centre ville. Resto pas tres loins

Perfect location. We could easily walk to the gorgeous lake with waterfront restaurants or the center of town with all the restaurants and shops. Plus we had a little view of the lake. Staff was very nice. Rooms were spacious. Faded beauty but good price. Restaurant is only open for breakfast sometimes but there’s a good breakfast cafe a block away. They keep the front gate locked and we felt perfectly safe.

We enjoyed our stay at Villas Bakalar. The location is good and an easy walk to restaurants and the lagoon. The rooms could use a little bit of a refurb. Although there is a small kitchen don't plan on cooking much. There is very little in the way of pots/pans/utensils. Both the electricity and water went out for a whole day and didn't come back on until 8pm, which was a bit of a nuisance, but the hotel did offer us breakfast as a recompense which was nice. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, but it's definitely not, so don't get your hopes up.

Bue lugar y tranquilo bonita vista y céntrico muy bien conservado

The cleaning crew and host very friendly, lots of space, everything needed and a great view of Bacalar lagoon, only a block away.

La amplitud y que puedes cocinar , en verdad es una casa cómoda y muy fresca con una vista de la Laguna Bacalar

Una estancia muy agradable, todas las instalaciones en muy buen estado , las habitaciones con espacio suficiente y las estancias muy amplias , aparte muy bonita vista a la laguna desde la terraza . Check in muy rápido y su personal muy amable . Les recomiendo mucho este lugar
