Riad Awa

Fantastic Riad in a great location. We were really well looked after by the team. Lovely breakfast and great rooftop terrace. A peaceful hideaway from the hustle and bustle outside. We'd definitely book again

The property came with several inconveniences: - The shower is not isolated, the two of us were not a couple so it was awkward for one of us to take a shower - The “double bed” was not a double bed, it was less than 2m in length - The wifi did not reach the room at all - The room had no windows to outside - The host did not speak any English so it was difficult for us to communicate The good things: - Beautiful decor - Clean rooms - The location was good

Denne Riad har en fantastisk beliggenhed i centrum af Kabbah området, der er 10 minutters gang til centrum af Marrakech. det er 3 gang vi er på denne Riad, og det er det flinkeste personale, altid søde og hjælpsomme. Der er den skønneste tagterrasse og en fin lille pool. Skønne store værelser og en dejlig atmosfærer. Alt er flot og vedligeholdt.

Great location…you’re not located in the crazy part which is really nice. Walking distance to a strip of restaurants and where all the street food is located. Close taxi ride to Medina. We walked there it wasn’t too bad but we enough walking. But lots of cars to look out for The riad is little hard to find at first but it was night time and I think that’s normal in marrakesh. But once we found it, we never got lost . There’s a parking lot just about a 5 min walk from the riad. We paid him 10 euros for 2 nights. We probably over paid but we got in late and had been traveling for over 20 hours so we didn’t care. The man who greeted us was very polite and kind offered us some tea and cookies when we arrived. Our room was very clean and big. It was a little nosey cause our room was just outside the common area but wasn’t a big deal to us. The Terrance with pool on the roof was very cute. Breakfast was very good, the ladies there are also very kind and friendly. Would recommend 100 percent to anyone coming to Morocco. It was our first time to Morocco and loved it.

Hele mooie, schone riad in het midden van de medina. De locatie is heel centraal. De mensen zijn super behulpzaam en het onbijt is heerlijk. We hebben een leuke tijd bij jullie gehad. Fijn om in het drukke leven van marrakech bij deze riad binnen te komen en even af te sluiten van alle drukte.

The staff were incredibly helpful, lovely pool area, nice breakfast. Just warning that noisy given location next to a busy road.

Rooms can be locked from the inside, but no locks on outside of the rooms. There was a safe for valuables but just something to be aware of. Good breakfast and nice to have the terrace with the pool. 6 sun loungers so normally some free but not always. Good wifi throughout

Wunderschönes Riad Mitten in der Stadt mit kleinem Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Leider etwas hellhörig und sehr harte Betten. Sehr nettes Personal, kleines leckeres Frühstück.

Lovely people and beautiful rooms

The Riad is beautiful and well kept. They staff are very friendly and always on hand to help. The location in the Kasbah area is ideal to get to everything you need and the rooftop small pool and sun deck allow time to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

Just great all the Way

This hotel understands the concept of service and does it right the first time. It was one of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in for the last 10 years. The Staff added a omelet for breakfast when asked, the rooms were huge and clean- the roof patio a gem.

Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. Climatisation defectueuse à notre arrivée, terrasse sale, piscine mal entretenue, personnel d'accueil peu professionnel, riad sans ambiance ni chaleur humaine. Très cher pour la saison et pour le service rendu. Par contre chambre spacieuse et bonne situation géographique. Quel dommage !

Rolig Riad med bra beliggenhet innen gangavstand til de fleste stedene i Medinaen. Flott lite basseng på takterrasse hvor vi kunne sole oss og slappe av. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt betjening selv om ikke alle snakket engelsk.

Un accueil personnalisé, toujours la présence d’un membre du personnel qui vous ouvre la porte, sentiment de beaucoup de sécurité. Le riad Awa est parfaitement situé, à quelques pas des monuments et sites d’intérêts dans le kasbah mais d’où il est également très facile de rejoindre le parking gardé et les grandes axes routiers. Nous avons spécialement appréciés les repas servis sur la terrasse ainsi que tous les bons conseils qui nous ont été fournis chaque jour. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe.

L’endroit est très sympathique, une vraie immersion dans la ville ; l’ensemble du personnel est très prévenant, attentionné. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bien servi. Merci pour les conseils de visites et restaurants. Une belle découverte que nous ne manquerons pas de conseiller.

Hotel was nice and clean with very friendly staff happy to go out of their way to make us happy. We had a day trip departing prior to scheduled breakfast time and they accommodated an earlier time to get us some breakfast before our excursion.

Charmant RIAD aux portes de la Medina. Endroit relativement calme au plein coeur de Marrakech. Chambre et terrasse très agreables. Les lits sont confortables. Le personnel est serviable. A recommander.
