리아드 줄리아

Hele leuke riad! Goed gelegen plek, slechts 10 minuten van het El Fna plein af. De kamers waren super schoon en de service was top. De gastheer, Mehdi, was super vriendelijk en hielp je met alles als je het vroeg. Gaf hele goede tips om de buurt te gaan verkennen.

We had a wonderful stay at the Riad Julia. We hired a driver to take us from the airport to the hotel and he kindly called the hotel and the manager met us to walk us to the hotel. It is quite easy to navigate once you see the route. The Riad is located perfectly and we just walked everywhere. The hotel is a bit of an oasis from the chaos of the Souk. The Riad is enchanting and the breakfast is just perfect. The staff and host go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and explain everything to you and advise you of things to see and do. It was lovely. I definitely recommend the hotel!

Totalmente recomendable. Mohamed es un excelente anfitrión dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. Muy bien situado,cerca de la koutubia y a 10 min. de la plaza Jemaâ el Fna a pie. Las calles aunque son estrechas están muy bien iluminadas de noche y hay cámaras de vigilancia. Limpio,tranquilo y acogedor. Es un lugar que recomendaría sin duda. Es fácil llegar a los sitios desde allí,no está demasiado escondido en la Medina y es fácil de encontrar. El desayuno muy bueno. Tengo que agradecer a Mohammed toda la ayuda que nos prestó,es realmente amable.

Great riad to stay in, Mohammed was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served either in the courtyard or on the roof terrace at whatever time you choose. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only downside is it can be a bit difficult to find initially.

The service provided by the staff was outstanding.

Riad Julia er et smukt, trygt og roligt sted at overnatte og et refugium fra Marrakech's mylder. Servicen var overvældende god og venlig, renligheden var i top. Hvis jeg SKAL komme med konstruktiv kritik, så kunne noget af interiøret (liggestole, sengetæpper) godt trænge til en update.

El Riad,sería difícil de encontrar,de no ser por la indiscutible amabilidad de Karim que nos esperaba donde nos dejó el coche de traslado desde el aeropuerto.Esta en plena Medina y en angostas callejuelas,la entrada es oscura y no deja adivinar lo que se vislumbra tras la puerta de entrada.las habitaciones son bonitas y los baños también. Karim,es el perfecto anfitrión,servicial,cercano,simpático y siempre pendiente de ofrecerte un té a cualquier hora.Abandonamos el riad a las 06,45 y pese a la hora,se levantó,nos hizo el desayuno con cariño y nos acompañó hasta donde esperaba el coche.Todo fue más fácil,gracias a él.Los propietarios,deben saber que su empleado,es un 10. El desayuno,bueno,tan solo frío en el lugar donde lo tomábamos,faltaba una buena estufa. En la terraza,una jaima,donde conversar,tomar el té o leer. Dos noches,nos hicieron una sopa marroquí,muy buena con dátiles, a buen precio.Caso de volver a Marrakech,repetiríamos,por Karim,sobre todo y por la buena ubicación.

I stayed at the Riad Julia for 3 nights. The location is perfect. A bit difficult to find the first time so an airport transfer is suggested for 15€. Mohammed was fantastic at providing recommendations, giving directions and making sure my stay was good. He helped us to make a reservation for a massage and picked up our train tickets for us for departing to Fes. The Riad itself is basic but comfortable and clean. There was AC in the room which was nice. Friends were staying at a fancier Riad BE which was next level beautiful, but for the price the Riad Julia was perfect for me as a solo traveler.

Riad Julia is full of characters and truly a hidden gem of Marrakech. Mohamed Louatani would make sure your stay in Marrakech is as wonderful as any visitor would hope for. The Riad is about 20 minutes to Medina, we found it quite easily with the map Mohamed provided. It is closed to many good restaurants and the shower is amazing.

Riad is impossible to find unless you arrange a taxi pick up with them direct. I emailed them six times without a reply - they will only reply if you send your message in French!!! Mohammed made the Riad a gem for us. He couldn't do enough for us - Thank You Mohammed. Riad is about a 10 minute walk to the main medina which was handy. If you venture into the medina you may well find yourself lost in the warren (as we did), well worth it though! Terrace at the Riad is great - a comfy sun lounger for a bit of relax time is very welcome. All in all I would recommend this place but they really do need to sort out the communications in English!

Het is een beetje moeilijk te vinden maar als je er uiteindelijk bent waan je je in een oase van rust en typische Marokkaanse gastvrijheid. Prima kamer met heerlijk ontbijt.
