The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. The Riad is incredibly difficult to find when you first arrive - although made easier in the knowledge that white arrows have been crudely painted to display the correct route through the labyrinth of the Medina. It was quite overwhelming to navigate through dark alleys, unsure of where you are going. The property would benefit from more visible signage, or sending an email to guests with directions prior to the stay. The Riad is a little rundown, with windows cracked and missing in the rooms - however they still display the gorgeous Moroccan decor. I am unlikely to stay here again, having stayed at another local Riad during the same trip - however I do not regret my visit to this authentic and traditional Riad.

The hosts were very friendly. We really enjoyed the time we took to talk and drink tea when we arrived after a long flight from Canada. The place was really beautiful and the terrace on top to watch the stars at night was really amazing.

Spent a night here after hiking in the Atlas Mountains. The host was super nice, the room was large, it was very quiet inside and breakfast was good. We struggled a bit to find the riad but eventually learnt to follow the white arrows (and there wasn’t a sign on the door originally which didn’t help).

Charming and helpful hosts in attractive Riad. Good breakfast but basin area in poor state. Shower fine. Overall some simple maintenance would help a lot.

Beautiful riad down a very quiet street a few minutes from the edge of the Medina. Kareema looked after us really well and was lovely. We woke to the sound of birds for the first time in many weeks. Great breakfast and lovely old style rooms.

Si buscas un lugar auténtico este es tu sitio. Cerca de la bulliciosa plaza y aunque llegar hasta el Riad puede ser intimidante, es seguro y confortable. Karina y Omar están pendientes de ti y consiguen que tu estancia sea como estar en casa. Amables, afectuosos y cercanos. Riad que conserva toda su esencia. También puedes organizar desde allí excursiones al desierto, paseos en camello y quads y visitas a otras ciudades. Cuentan con Jawad que se encarga de que tus excursiones sean toda una experiencia. Maravillosa persona, divertida, que cuida que disfrutes de tu estancia. La caótica Marrakech es una ciudad segura, libérate de tus prejuicios y disfruta de su gente!

Located right by the market but a world away once in the riad. A seeming maze (actually well marked so easy to get back to) to a traditional court centered house. All you hear are the birds in the courtyard trees. A quiet place after enjoying the crazy busy Medina.

Avevamo prenotato la stanza suite. Appena arrivati ci riferiscono che la camera non era disponibile in quanto già occupata e ci avrebbero appoggiato in una stanza piccolissima nel tetto della struttura. Il giorno successivo ci riferiscono che la camera non era ancora disponibile. Appena ci spostano nella stanza della prenotazione, ci comunicano che il riscaldamento è rotto ma ci avrebbero acceso il camino. Fenomenale il camino in camera se non fosse che ti forniscono 2 pezzetti di legna al giorno che riscaldano la stanza solo per 2 ore al giorno. Alla richiesta di legna aggiuntiva ci comunicano che è terminata. I lavandini erano otturati e la doccia e il lavandino si allagavano completamente d' acqua. Dopo aver comunicato del disagio ricevuto alla struttura ci dicono che non avremmo pagato la tassa di soggiorno di 20 euro. Se volete rischiare a prenotare per poi ritrovarmi nel tetto a voi la scelta. 😄 e mi raccomando portate la legna da casa.

Sehr liebenswerte Menschen, tolles Frühstück

Pour notre premier séjour au Maroc nous ne pouvions pas mieux tomber. Que ce soit la beauté du Riad, comme sa localisation ainsi que la quiétude du site, tout était réunis pour que ce séjour se déroule au mieux. Humainement parlant, nous avons rencontré une fratrie qui s’occupe de ses ôtes comme si nous étions des cousins venus les visiter. Bienveillance, explications, bons plans, avertissement et promenade improvisée dans la médina. La famille s’occupe de tout sans mauvaise surprise et en toute transparence. Encore merci. Grâce à vous nous sommes tombés amoureux du Maroc!

Great position, nice host.

Omar unfreundlicher und aggressiver Gastgeber, der beim Auschecken ohne eine Rechnung zu stellen mehr Geld fuer Flughafentransfer fordert als auf Webseite angegeben. Auch ist sein Wechselkurs zum Euro anders als der anderer Gastgeber. Seine Forderungen setzt er mit aggresivem Auftreten auch gegenüber Frauen durch. Einziges negatives Erlebnis in einer Woche Marokko-Rundreise.

Wir waren 10 Tage im Riad zu Gast. Wer einen anonymen Urlaub im 5 Sterne Hotel machen möchte, ist hier fehl am Platz. Dafür hatten wir das Gefühl, wir gehören zur Familie. Vorallem hat sich, die gute Seele des Riads, Samira ganz liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Ob als Reiseführer oder als traumhafte Köchin. Danke für alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können dieses Haus , unter Beachtung des Anfangs nur weiter empfehlen.

Staff sympa mais difficile de trouver le riad, il faut suivre des flèches à la craie sur les murs... Arrivée on a laissé nos valises pour visiter et au retour, quand on a voulu se poser dans la chambre la climatisation ne marchait pas. On a alors changé de chambre et dans la suivante il y avait des CAFARDS.... payé 90€ pour un riad alors que j'aurai pû avoir un 4* à 65€... dégouté mais bloqué avec 2 enfants...

Séjour sympathique dans ce riad familial et authentique! Nos hôtes ont été très charmants et accueillants. Localisation idéale au coeur de la Médina. Parfait pour profiter de Marrakech en amoureux.

Das Riad wird privat geführt, der Besitzer Omar und seine Familie betreiben es selbst. Die Atmosphäre ist dadurch sehr angenehm und freundlich und nicht so distanziert wie in anderen Riads. Speziell Omar war herzlich, hilfsbereit und sehr sympathisch. Das Riad selbst ist etwas älter als vergleichbare aber immer noch absolut in Ordnung. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden wieder kommen!

Riad's location is excellent, right at the entrance of the medina. Just a few minutes walk from the square bus station. The room is sparkling clean, huge space with decorations of Morocoon style. Pretty much what I expected at the begining, The Omar's brothers are super friendly, they help me a lot on providing information that I needed. They even took me to the bus station to get a ticket for me. Never seen such friendly host in my travel so far. They are definetly doing much better than some 5 stars hotels in providing hospitality services. If you go to Marrakech, you should book for this place!
