À mon arrivée, on m'a dit que je n'avais pas de réservation. J'ai montré ma confirmation et mon reçu de paiement, mais ils ont haussé les épaules. Ils n'étaient au courant de rien et il n'y avait pas de chambres disponibles. Je devais repartir. Personne ne m'a aidé à résoudre le problème ni suggéré où passer la nuit. Le montant a été débité de mon compte et personne ne réagit pour résoudre le problème.

I had a lovely stay at Riad Tara.

I've mixed views on this one. I reached around 8pm and it took me 45 minutes to find this place. Fes is confusing and you will get lost so I'd have appreciated if the Riad had shared directions/ landmarks/ advice on how to reach them. I am surprised nobody else's review has this issue. I'm guessing they all took the train pickup service that the Riad offers. I didn't as it's much cheaper to take a taxi. The Riad is run by a very sweet lady who made sure I had breakfast every morning before heading out for the day. The location isn't the best (it is NOT in Fes el Bali) so anything needs a walk and any walk increases the chances of you getting lost. Believe me, you will get lost. The Riad in itself looks a bit rundown but it's still pretty. It has a gorgeous rooftop though and sunsets are very pretty.

Agréable séjour au riad TARA, accueil sympathique et personnel discret. Le riad a du charme avec un joli patio et un grand bassin propre où l'on peut se rafraîchir. Mention spéciale pour le lit XXL très confortable dans la chambre romantique. Après exploration des alentours, le riad est bien situé dans la médina. Quelques minutes à pied du parking, de la Place R'Cif et de la Talaa Sghira. Merci Fatiha

We stayed in the Amber room for Three nights. Spacious, massive bathroom, hot shower (not that you really need it), functioning aircon and wifi. Plunge pool a godsend after walking around Medina in 44deg! Not difficult to find after the first time, reasonable walk to restaurants, although catering was available. Friendly staff. Genuine riad experience.

Wonderful guest house! The service was excellent. They ere attentive to everything we needed. We ate one dinner there as well and the food was better than the best rated restaurant in Fes (where we ate a subsequent night). The only negatve was parking. This guest house is located in the Medina so parking is not right at the building. It must be purchased from a local several blocks away for about $3 USD for 24 hours.

Accueil excellent par un duo de choc totalement à votre service et aux petits soins. Caché au fond d'une ruelle de la medina, au calme, ce superbe riad est magnifique et confortable. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée, au 1er etage, était très confortable, joliment décorée, la literie impeccable et l'immense salle de douche magnifique avec sa douche à la marocaine et ses deux vasques carrelées. Petit déjeuner complet et gourmand préparé à la demande. Dîner délicieux concoctés sur place avec des produits frais du jour. La petite piscine nous a permis de nous rafraîchir. Et surtout, nous avons apprécié la séance de hammam et son gommage, puis le délicieux massage qui a suivi.

Tout était parfait au Riad Tara! Le lieu est somptueux, décoré avec beaucoup de goûts. Le propriétaire et le personnel sont aux petits soins. Les repas et les massages sur place sont divins. Et enfin le bassin pour se rafraîchir au retour d'une journée dans la médina est appréciable ! Nous y avons passé 5 nuits ce que je pense est parfait pour profiter de la médina et des alentours en prenant son temos. Allez y les yeux fermés.

This is just an amazing Riad! I stayed here about 6 years ago and had such a wonderful time that I had to come back. Mr Jim and his lovely wife are such fantastic hosts and such great company. The location is perfect over looking the old city, the rooms have been updated and are now even more impressive! The food and service is top notch! We had a wonderful time and we can't wait to return!

The perfect Riad in Fes. Super nice owner with Fatia will do everything they can to help you visit the city or shop in the Medina.

Sejour tres agreable dans un riad de bonne qualite et offrant de belles prestations (bons repas en genereuse quantite, hotes disponibles et chaleureux, de bons conseils et qui ne poussent pas a l achat de prestations). A recommander

I would start off by stating that the property itself is absolutely gorgeous. We had the terrace apartment and a great view. The owner is so friendly and both he and the staff, Fateha, are wonderful. Fateha arranged breakfast for us in the mornings, and got up very early on our departure date to make sure we were fed. They also arranged a porter for us and offerred to arranged taxi (we had already made arrangements for taxi). HOWEVER, it is very difficult to get to this Riad from the main road, especially with baggage and a stroller. the path is very uphill and cobblestone, narrow, and with many turns. from the main road when the taxi drops you off, it take about 10 minutes to get to the Riad. once you get to the main road, there are restaurants and shops and access to taxis and other means of transportation.

Love Riad Tara! The lady who runs the place is so lovely! She speaks French and I can understand a little so we managed to communicate as much as we needed! The meals she cooked for us were so incredibly delicious and some of the best we had on our travels. The Riad is lovely - safe, secure, clean, comfortable with a nice view and seating from the rooftop. It’s also just inside the Médina so easy to access by being dropped off (and the lady met our taxi). They also offer a shuttle to the airport with a driver who speaks perfect English, and a small spa with massage and a sauna! Highly recommend this stay! It feels like a labyrinth in the Médina and this is a nice refuge. The hotel is also named for Tara the owners 18 year old cat who is very sweet and reminded us of our own.

The place is inside of the medina, meaning no access by car, you have to walk with your belongings for 3 blocks+_, eventually you get your bearings and find the place, one recommendation for the manager is to offer an arrival pickup, wee see this in marrakech terminal, various peoples from different riads picking customers. The spa service was amazing and the food the same. Our room is in needs of a good update. In general the place is very good but isolated if you want to go around at night is a little scary because all the labyrinths of the medina with only very few people around. Definitely an unforgettable good experience that we wiil repeat in heartbeat.

Nous avons passé un très agreable sejour . L'acceuil est excellent, la cusine de Fatya est un délice. Notre chambre au rez de chausee etati trs confortable. Le propriétaire nous a très bien reçu et il est donnes de très bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse . Riad idealement placé

Located in Medina with close distance to many attractions within old city.On the top of this, I would like to thank you a lot to a lady who is looking after this property on the daily basis. However she does not speak English ,she helped me a lot within my all stay at Tara.Each time I was coming back to the property she offered my a tea, helped me with the local travel agencies and guides.A huge thank you to her.

Nous venons de passer 4 jours merveilleux au Riad Tara. Tranquillité, plaisir pour les yeux et le palais et Jim le patron est très accueillant! Tout pour passer des vacances à deux exceptionnelles. Fatia s’occupe de vous préparer de bon petit plat si vous le souhaitez et Jim vous proposera des circuits de visites au top! Le Riad est très bien placé, au calme de la medina tout en restant à quelques pas de celle-ci! Nous avions la chambre du haut, à côté de la terrasse sur les toits, au calme et avec une bonne connexion internet (important car au Maroc, votre forfait est mis à mal!).
