Staff stood out. As a women traveling solo I felt completely safe and every single individual I’ve come across was beyond sweet. I felt like I had two big brothers who were ensuring I had a comfortable safe stay - needless to say, there were a handful of times I needed help getting back to the Riad as my GPS was not routeing correctly and neither one ever hesitated to come get me. Highly recommend and will stay again when in Marrakech!

We had a lovely two night stay here when we arrived in Marrakech. Our room was spotlessly clean and the decor is modern and cozy. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was delicious. The staff were so warm, welcoming and helpful and helped with anything we needed. The location was great, close to the markets, lovely restaurants and Le Jardin Secret.

Little gem of a Riad A cute little Riad in a lovely location. Clean and well presented with a beautiful roof terrace. We arrived and were presented with tea and biscuits which was a nice touch! Staff are very friendly and helpful, our dealings were mainly with Rashid and Rizwan. They even suggested a change in room as they were aware of the noise of the building works outside our bathroom area- we didn’t even complain so that was superb. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a selection of pancakes/crepes, omelette, cake and fresh fruit. Filled us up so much we didn’t need to have a lunch! Riad is within walking distance of Souks and most tourist areas. Would definetly recommend this Riad for a pleasant stay. I would also recommend taking up the offer of hotel transfers to and from airport as it would be difficult to locate on your own (they email you after booking). They come to greet you and escort you to and from hotel.

Beautiful Riad right in the heart of the souks, amazing food (thank you, Iman!) and wonderful staff

A beautifully decorated riad hotel tucked down small alleyways away from the mayhem of the Medina. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace which had a lovely log fire going to keep us warm. The room was clean, comfortable with a great shower and we had a good night sleep staff for always on hand if you needed them but gave you privacy also I would definitely recommend for a small scale hotel with some privacy.

On arrival we were greeted by Kadija who brought us tea and biscuits, went through some details about the riad, then kindly organised a guide for a private tour of the medina which was well worth doing as Abdul was great. We needed to be up early for pick up at 8am the next morning so they started breakfast a bit earlier for us. The second morning we returned from a balloon flight at 10am and still they did the best breakfast ever and it was no trouble. Mums birthday was during the stay and they got a delicious birthday cake which was a wonderful surprise, then we realised why our guide asked what flavour cake we preferred the day before. One of the staff got up early to show us where a pick up point was and there was always someone available in the road should you need anything. The room was attended to each day and the whole place was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and room kept cool with the air-con unit so we had a great sleep each night. The roof terrace is a fabulous little haven to relax either on the sun beds, or in the shade with the mist sprays which keep you nice and cool. On our last day, they look after our bags after we vacated the room so we could visit the Majorelle gardens. Overall, it was personal, calm and relaxed and I can’t fault anything. If we return to Marrakesh we’d definitely book riad Tizou.

Très beau séjour au Riad Tizou. Décoration superbe lieu très propre et bon petit déjeuner. Accueil chaleureux et serviable 😊 À recommander. Concernant la préférence des chambres j’étais au rez de chaussée donc limite en luminosité car qu’une fenêtre à la salle de bain. Préférez les étages.

Great little location in the heart of the medina. The staff were great and made the stay really comfortable and were always there to help. The room was small but adequate and the traditional breakfast tasty each morning

Small and cozy place for a couple to spend a few days in the Medina. Very well maintained and the breakfast was amazing.

A huge thank you to the on the ground Riad staff - Saeed, Aziz (especially), Noordeen (night watch), and the housekeeping staff. Excellent service no matter what time of day or evening. The breakfast each morning was great, the Riad was always clean and tidy. The staff work really hard and make the stay worthwhile. Close to a good entry spot to the Medina too. I would definitely stay here again, this stay made up for the previous stay . The Riad is also very close to Bacha Coffee inside the Museum which means you can get into the queue easily, especially if you leave very early.

Wir hatte einen traumhaft schönen Aufenthalt im Riad Tizou. Das Team und der Service sind einfach unglaublich. Sie erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch und sind sehr hilfreich. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum und das Essen war besser, als in den meisten Restaurants. Einfach Bescheid geben und man bekommt ein sehr leckeres Essen. Auch die Sauberkeit war spitze. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist super, da man sofort in der Medina ist. Ich kann das Riad nur jedem empfehlen. Bei meinem nächsten Urlaub in Marrakesch, werde ich dort wieder ein Zimmer buchen. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sterne vergeben. Vielen Dank, dass ihr unseren Urlaub unvergessen gemacht habt.

Séjour parfait dans ce riad très bien situé . Le personnel est vraiment au petits soins , une équipe très professionnelle et toujours très souriante et prévenante . Petit déjeuner et dîner excellents sur la terrasse .

Lovely clean property, lovely staff and very welcoming. I would highly recommend if you want somewhere peaceful, quiet and away from the market and street noise.

I loved my stay here. Leia and Said were amazing, the chef was so incredible-- waking up to eggs and crepes and confiture by the fire was so hard to leave. Said Leia helped me with anything I needed, like, above and beyond helpful. Marrakech is lovely and busy and this place was very calm and zen-- coming back to some cookies and mint tea on a silver tray I'll remember for sure. You can walk everywhere in the Medina from here, but also reach a taxi to the outside, it's a perfect location. The soaps they have are nice, the building is very nice, the rooftop is great. Just make sure to chart out your exact path from the train or plane if you don't arrange a pickup, it's on a street with many riads and you will have teenagers trying to 'show you the way' for some $, just know your way and figure it out yourself, it's a good tip for Marrakech in general really.
