My husband got food poisoning from omelette and the staff were not friendly, sink was blocked. They had very loud music at swimming pool which we were not aware of. The gardens and swimming pool were lovely.

We stayed at The Source for 2 nights in April 2025. We are a family of 6 and booked 3 twin rooms. The first thing to say about the hotel, is that it is obviously owned by someone, or by a group of people, who know what quality looks like. The hotel looks exactly like the photos, It is a boutique hotel with some fantastic touches and facilities. The buildings, the pool, the Spa, and the gardens, are all fantastic. Tasteful, well designed, and incredibly well maintained. However, in stark contrast to the appearance, the management of this hotel is very very poor. I would summarise it by saying that the guest services team is a. absent, b. takes no ownership for the client experience, and c. lacks any empathy for what a client may expect when booking and staying in a property like this one. As soon as we checked in, there were clues all around that the management was not engaged in the client experience. We saw guests being poorly served and becoming frustrated, numerous gaps in the organisation, some of which were explained away by the fact that the hotel 'had just hosted a wedding', and an on-site team that looked tired and disinterested. The biggest challenge with our own stay, was the checkout. We were leaving early for a 10.50am flight, and discussed the arrangements with the reception the day before. We agreed that we would order a taxi at 8am, for an 8.30am collection. Sounds easy? You would think so, but for some reason the reception failed to mention that they woul

We had a wonderful stay at the source during our trip through Morocco. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you to Ziad, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and great amenities. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The gardens and the whole grounds were beautiful and filled with hidden surprises with rooms tucked away in all number of nooks and crannies amongst groves of scented bushes,roses,palms, herbs and cactuses etc etc. some areas were tired and definitely in need of repair but this did not destract from the charm and character of this wonderful retreat.

Nice place to stay. It seems to me more a singer songwriter retreit where they can quitly work, write and jam. The prices at the bar/restaurant where way to high so we did not eat here.

Has potential to be a top luxury resort - needs to improve its customer service and maintain its facilities better. Should do a better job of managing tours and guest requests - for instance should provide detailed tour information and costs to guests instead of having to ask overwhelmed staff. Also room had broken furniture, fixtures and paint coming off walls. Otherwise resort is quite beautiful and a uniquely designed and laid out property.

Beautiful property. Loved the style and decore, very unique. I dont like the unsecured pets, dogs and cats moving everywhere everytime.

The Source is a beautiful escape situated in an isolated area, roughly 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech city centre. I visited in November 2019 and although the weather wasn’t the best, I couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough. As a female solo-traveller I was very nervous about visiting Marrakech but I felt instantly relaxed after speaking to Toufik who worked on reception. He helped me plan my transportation from the airport to the hotel and once I arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay. All the staff were warm and friendly despite the language barrier and this added to the feeling of being safe and welcome. The hotel itself is breath-taking with its magical gardens, quirky rooms, exquisite spa. I stayed in the Natural Mystic suite and it’s as lovely as it looks in the pictures. On my final day I treated myself to some spa treatments – I love going to luxury spas in London, but this surpassed anything I’ve experienced previously. This truly is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Special thanks again to Toufik!

It’s in the middle of nowhere and the roads to get there are getting build but it makes up for for everything once there. Absolutely gem, wonderful people, well done

Wir kamen spät Abends im Hotel an. Die Dame am Empfang hat uns nicht besonders herzlich Empfangen. Wir wurden über das Gelände zu unserem Zimmer geführt. Das normale Zimmer ist etwas klein, das Türschloss war nicht mehr ganz intakt, im Badezimmer hatte es Ameisen und die Ankleide war staubig. Das gesamte Gelände war wie eine Oase und erinnerte an einem botanischen Garten. In der Mitte hat es einen grossen & wunderschönen Pool. Auf dem Restaurant war eine Dachterrasse worauf man Essen und schöne Abende verbringen konnte. Im SPA war kein Mensch und wurde auch kaum besucht, was etwas enttäuschend war. Das Versprechen, dass man Yoga machen kann, war natürlich nur auf Bezahlung möglich. Das Personal war nicht sehr aufmerksam, hat kaum gesprochen und wirklich nur das nötigste gemacht. Unser Aufenthalt war im gross und ganzem Ok; wir würden das Hotel jedoch nicht weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Staff were very helpful.

We booked 3 nights and only stayed the first night. The service is at best a 3 star on a good day. They told me the pool was heated and it was freezing. There is nothing to do but sit by the pool and it’s 30 Mins from anything else to do. The staff consistently gave me wrong information. They only have 1 menu for lunch and dinner so you will get sick of the 10 things quite quickly. I never review but it was so disappointing for the price and the level I expected. Stay at a riad and go on adventures like camping in the desert. They even tried to talk me out of going camping and it was the best experience ever! A true luxury 5 star experience at The White Camel lodge!

Magnifique séjour dans une oasis de bonheur ! La prochaine fois que je viens sur Marrakech je ne poserais pas de question ce sera The Source! Une véritable bulle de sérénité. La nourriture qui y est servie est excellente, la piscine grande et majestueuse alliant simplicité et élégance c’est un véritable coup de cœur ! Mention spéciale pour le SPA - Les soins proposés sont top

La maison mais en mieux!!! Un havre de paix en pleine nature jardins luxuriants splendide piscine merveilleuse personnel charmant Si nous revenons à Marrakech ce sera forcément à Thé Source
