amazing stay, carlos, mozinho and moussa are the best and made our stay great. the place itself is really beautiful and the rooms beautiful and comfortable! a bit far from the center but the walk even at night as women is safe. 100% recommend. Great breakfast and food also!

Very cool hotel for people who want more than just a place to sleep. Mozambeat has very nice common areas and nice plans organized every night. Only bad thing is that it's a bit far from tofo's center (15-20 mins walking distance). I'd suggest them offering a "taxi service". Anyway, I'd defenitely recommend this place.

Tiene unas buenas instalaciones para poder haber creado un gran hotel, sin embargo, la nula limpieza de las habitaciones y sus baños (bichos por todas partes, mosquitos como en ningún otro sitio de Tofo, almohadas malolientes y con arañas en su interior...), así como una atención poco cercana (a diferencia de todos los demás sitios de Mozambique), hacen que tu estancia se amargue. Aunque se indica en la web, la distancia al centro es otro inconveniente, así como sus múltiples fiestas y cines (a todo volumen) y menús diarios basados en cómo superar tu resaca (parece que estás en Ibiza y no en un país tan increíble como Mozambique). No lo recomiendo a nadie, a menos que tú objetivo del viaje sea emborracharte todos los días.

Mozambeat is a charming little hideout. Perfect spot to start your exploration of the Tofo area. The staff was friendly and helpful when suggesting things to do in the area. They have a nice area where guests can mingle over breakfast or late afternoon drinks. Went over low season so missed out on their famous parties and movie nights but enjoyed their ocean safari discount offer they have with PeriPeri divers which was worthwhile and one of the best afternoons in my stay. Highly recommend staying here. Maybe an improvement would be having a tuktuk service or bicycles for guests to rent to explore the rest of Tofo as the long walks into town or the beach did get quite tiring days later.

Great clean unique spot that is quiet and calm. The food is not great and expensive though and it is a bit of a walk to town, ~25 min.

Nice clean place. It was very quiet during our stay as there were only 2-4 cabins booked. We almost felt we had the whole place to our selves. Breakfast was nice. The rest of the Food was some days good and some days alright, it wasn’t consistent. The walls are very thin so we can easily hear people talk or walk close to the cabin. We were a family of 5, with 3 young kids. We easily walked to the beach and center of the city everyday (30 min kids Pace). We enjoyed it as we could encounter locals and their homes.

Very funky vibe throughout and excellent music at the bar. Naomi and Carlos were great but the rest of the staff seemed unmotivated. Wifi didn’t cooperate while we were there and we didn’t have hot water for a couple days. Breakfast was meh

Comfortable, laidback, rustic and funky. It was a fun place to stay with friendly staff. The walk to the main part of town and Tofo beach was 20 minutes, but not difficult & good exercise! Tofino Beach is even more gorgeous & much quieter with only a 8 minute walk away. If you’re looking for a more local feel & safe place to stay, this is the place to be! I stayed in a suite (fans only, no air con) & it was quieter at that end of the property.
