아웅 민갈라르 호텔

새해 첫날이라서 그런지 창고 같은 방을 주어서 항의를 하니 다음 날 방을 바꾸어 주었는데도 좁고 지저분하고 조식도 너무 부실하였습니다. 점심은 웨더스스푼윽 햄버거가 아주 맛있어요

위치가 좋고. 숙소도 좋고. 식사도 좋았다. 서비스질이 별로 안좋고, 와이파이가 잘 안됨.

가격대비 좋았습니다. 유적지까지의 거리가 다소 있지만...쉐지곤 파야가 가깝게 있습니다. 그리고 어짜피 다른 곳에서도 걸어가기 어렵고 이바이크나 택시 등을 이용해 가야하니 나쁘지 않습니다.

와이 파이만 빼면 최고였음

올드 바간에서 가까워 관광 다니기는 좋았으나 객실의 상태나 직원들의 서비스는 저가호텔 수준 이었습니다. 특히 와이 파이가 객실에서는 안되어 리셉션에서만 가능했습니다. 직웜들은 친절 했으나 영어가 안통해서 한계가 있었습니다. 특히 버스를 호텔에서 예약을 했는데 약속과는 달리 봉고차가 와서...껄루까지 힘들게 왔습니다. 꼭 직접 사진을 보고 예약 하시기를 권합니다.

장점: 1. 친절한 스텝, 택시등 다른 서비스를 이용시 주변 다른 호텔보다 싼 옵션과 연결 2. 깨끗한 객실-최소한 시트등을 매일 교체-여타 비슷학 가격대 미얀마 호텔보다 깨끗. 3. 식당등 여러 편의시설과 관광지에 걸어서 접근-5분내 단점: 차로변에 있어서 아침일찍부터 차/오토바이소리가 많이 들림-늦잠자기 힘듦

가까운 거리에 외국인 방문객 대상 식당과 기념품 가게가 많아 편리합니다. 외국 배낭족들이 많이 투숙하는 것 같고, 객실은 전반적으로 깨끗하고 서비스 또한 양호합니다. 현대식 호텔이 아닌 전원식 호텔이며, 설명에 있는 5% 별도 세금 부과는 없었습니다.

The building is getting older, but staff are polite and nice. Not much choice at breakfast.

Very neat to the food street, staff are very friendly.

The hotel is far away from down town.Difficult to find shophouse which sell food and beverage.

If you are looking at this hotel you are interested in price and location. This will fit the bill.

BREAKFAST VERY GOOD

We booked this hotel for one night (after travelling from Mandalay by bus) just wanted to check out the area before we booked our next four nights in Bagan. Checkin was quick & easy but the room was full of mosquitoes. We always travel with mosquito coils & promptly lit two (one in the bedroom & one in bathroom) headed across the road to check out the Pagoda & local area, which was quite good & only an easy 5-10 minute walk to Restaurant St. on return to our room we still encountered mosquitoes. Bed was comfortable, shower good & hot. Breakfast next morning was more than adequate with a lot of western options, but again mosquitoes everywhere in the outdoor dining area. This charm of this hotel was its lovely gardens but unfortunately that also meant a lot of water laying around which obviously caused the mosquito problem. We checked out straight after breakfast & moved to the Thante Hotel which was approximately 20 min walk away ( so glad we did the Thante was outstanding!!!)

Transport and tours quoted by hotel are much expensive than outside tour. Don't get it from hotel

Overall experience was very good.

I am disappointed with my stay in this hotel. Positive experience : The hotel itself was nice and quiet. The room itself was ok, not perfectly neat but they claim they don't use hard chemicals for cleaning to protect the soil. It's an effort I appreciate even if it means minor stains on the linen. Bellhops, cleaning and dining staff were very kind and friendly even if they can't speak english. We arrived by night bus at 4am so we booked for 2 nights including night of arrival to make sure we would have a room. Checkin was smooth. Negative experience : The next morning we rented bikes (2500kyat each). I ripped my pants with the bike because of a sharp metal piece. We went back to change it, and decided to upgrade to an ebike (electric scooter). Despite a 20cm rip in my pants that I had to throw away, they still charged us for the upgrade, and wanted to charge an extra fee because we were gonna use 1 ebike for 2 (10000 instead of 8000 for a single user). We still bought our bus tickets thru them and rented another ebike the next day. In the evening they offered we can take a shower while waiting for the bus pickup. I asked for a towel but they wanted to charge 5USD for each towel. With all our spending, one would expect they would be a little considerate and provide a complimentary towel, even one only for the two of us. But no. I didn't feel like a guest in this hotel, rather like a living wallet. It didn't happen anywhere else in Myanmar.

Staffs are nice, but water supply sucks, it always stops while showering, air conditioner is dripping, and many mosquitoes in the room

This guesthouse was very nice and comfortable. The wifi was limited to the reception area, which was disappointing. Breakfast was limited in options - no fruit or yoghurt, only white bread, fried eggs only that were very undercooked. There were plenty of more traditional local options however. Bicycle hire was convenient for visiting the temples, but the bikes were in poor repair and quite uncomfortable to ride, but at least they worked. Staff were helpful and friendly and helped me with booking a taxi to the airport.

大きなホテルではあるが、雨季・酷暑の時期で客が少なかったためか、とても良い対応だった。wi-fiは管理棟とその廻りしか通じなかったが、「管理棟でどうぞ」と丁寧に招き入れてくれた。 朝食がかなり貧弱だった。これもまた客が少ないためかも？ 部屋は広くて快適だった。
