A great accommodation in the middle of nowhere where you have the feeling that you are the only persons on planet Earth. The cottages are beautiful, the staff very friendly and accommodating and the food, especially the dinner, was very tasty!

Excellent staff. Food was delicious. Apparently the place is getting some renovations in 2026; I hope I get to see what they do with it! We stayed here on our way from Sossusvlei to Windhoek. Debated on whether we should, but so glad we did. We went on the cave paintings drive with Johan and it was one of the highlights of our time in Southern Africa. It was the perfect way to break up the drive and truly appreciate our surroundings. Would 100% go back!

Sicherlich zu schön, um von hier aus nach kurzer Nacht nach Sesriem weiterzufahren. Die tolle Umgebung der Lodge lädt zum Wandern, entspannen - und gut essen - ein. Deshalb hatte ich auch verlängert :-) Danke!

We had a great two night stay. This is a unique place with great staff, excellent food, beautiful views, hiking trails, a pool, and unique rooms in the middle of the desert. We were here at the end of September, and the weather was great. Highly recommend.

Rostock Ritz is just perfect. Miles from anywhere with stunning views over the desert. The rooms are gorgeous, no air con but fans and breeze help to cool it down. The pool is perfect, super clean and offers the same stunning views. We enjoyed an amazing steak dinner and a great breakfast. From our room we watched Zebra and other wildlife.

Ein Highlight, Gastgeber wie auch Personal. Die Lage ist schon ausgesprochen schön, doch übertroffen wird es noch dadurch, dass man sie auf unkomplizierte Weise dank Einrichtung von Wanderwegen noch viel mehr erfahren kann. Nachmittags bei leckerem Drink mit Pool zum Abend übergehen mit tollem Essen mit a la carte rundet den Tag perfekt ab. Wer gerne wandert, sollte unbedingt wenigstens 2 Nächte bleiben; uns waren 3 noch zu wenig. Vielen Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

Pousada familiar alemã, com boa comida (cara) no meio do deserto. Linda vista com órix passando ao fundo. A piscina também é excelente. Pena que o quarto seja muito rústico, lunar. Ducha básica. Não tem nenhum luxo no quarto. E sem ar-condicionado. Não é 4 estrelas.
