Great hotel. Feature beams in the room. Bar & restaurant for evening food with a canal side outdoors terrace facing the evening sun. Breakfast included was really nice and is in the cafe opposite. Would definitely recommend. Staff were very helpful. Very good for access to the train station which is 6 stops from Amsterdam Central, 15 mins.

The accommodation was excellent, the bad thing is that it is a bit far from the center but there are buses so great. I stayed to go to Jin's concert, thanks for the kindness!

Schönes großes Zimmer. Energetisch aufgrund des Alters natürlich nicht der Hit, aber mit viel Charme. Bad müsste in den nächsten Jahren erneuert werden. Die Terrasse zum Fluß ist toll. Das Frühstück ist speziell. Lecker aber fett und süß. für 3 Nächte aber okay. am Wochenende erst um 9 Uhr war uns zu spät.

Abbey Abcoude is such a gem! The rooms were so clean and comfortable, and the staff was so welcoming! I also appreciated the restaurant below that serves excellent food as it is so convenient for travelers coming in and waiting to check in. The staff went above and beyond and held our luggage until check in time, and they allowed us to check in early which was great! The train station that goes to central city was only a 10 minute walk and it was so convenient!

Wonderful stay

15 minute walk to a train station which takes you straight into Amsterdam. Be careful about parking in the correct place as instructed, then its a few minutes walk to the accommodation. The room was extremely hot despite the floor standing air conditionining unit which is seemignly portable in design but permanent installed but unfortunately the heat exchanger is internal with a pipe which then runs to the outside. Very high ceilings in the room. It barely reducedin the room (it was 30C plus when we stayed to be fair, but at night the room felt hotter than outside and it's quite noisy if you run it at night trying to sleep). All the rooms appeared to be upstairs. There was no one around when we arrived, just room key in a lock box which is fine. Some issues getting our breakfast tokens from day 2 onwards (for the cafe) which was resolved after a number of messages back and forth. The cafe owner was very helpful and effectively trusted us at first while things were trying to be organised. Accommodation above a pub which is open sometimes. But you dont deal with the pub in any way regarding handing keys back or regarding accommodation like some might expect. Would we stay again. Yes. It was affordable and clean and convenient for exploring Amsterdam and surrounding areas. But we would make sure we dont go in the summer as we prefer quieter and more effective aircon.

Top locatie voor een bezoekje aan de arena. Erg schoon, netjes en heerlijk ontbijtje bij de overbuurman. Ik zeg doen!!

En gemt perle i min optik, stedet er familie ejet og de formår at hygge om gæsterne, super flot stand og der er skabt gode rammer for både ferie og forretningsophold. fantastisk ekstra oplevelse var at morgenmaden serveres på en lille hyggelig nabo cafe som virkelig gør sig umage for at servere noget lækkert.

Lekker s'avonds uit eten geweest en het Abbey Hotel was lekker dichtbij. Mooie kamer en vrij rustig.

Erg gastvrij, rustig, leuk dorp en fijn om na een dag Amsterdam daar te kunnen ontladen. Daarnaast heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant.

Great little hotel. Very convenient to bus, 10 min walk to train. Ollies next door also rents bikes. Enjoyed a wonderful 6 hour bicycle ride down the Gein through to Muiden. Town has grocery, etc. weather was nice so not need for heat or air.

Hele vriendelijke ontvangst, een supervriendelijke bediening tijdens het eten en een mooie hotel met prachtige kamers.

Keurig en net hotel met vriendelijk personeel

Ideaal gelegen klein hotel. Een bijzonder mooi en gezellig ingerichte, ruime kamer, met al het nodige voor enkele dagen tot weken verblijf. Kwaliteitsvol bed, handige kitchenette en comfortabele badkamer. Onthaal en ontbijt scoren ook hoog. Bij goed weer wordt het zuidwest gerichte terras ook een overheerlijke oase. Aanrader

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Personeel deed haar best nog een ontbijt voor ons te regelen ondanks ons vroege vertrek.

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Ich war dort als Systemrelevanter Inbetriebnehmer für Medizinprodukte untergebracht und habe mich trotz der ganzen Einschränkungen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hoteliers wie auch das Personal haben meine Zeit unvergesslich gemacht, da sie sich sehr aufmerksam um mich gekümmert haben. Ich habe a la carte Essen auf dem Zimmer serviert bekommen und das Frühstück war auch klasse. Danke nochmal an das Team
