Great hotel with very friendly staff in a good location. Would definitely look at staying here again.

Godt hotell sentralt i Amsterdam. Gåavstand til det mest sentrale. Høflig, hjelpsom betjening. Enkle rom, men gode senger og rent. Lite bad, men helt ok. God frokost, og mulighet til å lage seg en kaffe i rommet veisiden av resepsjonen!👍 Bratter, smale trapper, så det er en fordel å ha gode hofter og knær og å kunne bevege lett. Kommer gjerne tilbake hit…..

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is very good and close to the tourist attractions.

Buena ubicación, agradable y limpio el cuarto. Único problema es la escalera, no tiene elevador y subir maletas es difícil en especial las grandes.

Our stay at the Amsterdam Wiechman was wonderful. This old converted canal house felt very authentic, down to the steep narrow stairway (adds to the charm). Our room had a bay window overlooking the canal that was so enjoyable to sit at. The bed was great. The bathroom was small and a bit awkward but not unexpected for a European bathroom. The location was perfect with a Euro Q R park nearby. It was easy walking distance from anything and everything you'd want to see while in Amsterdam. My absolute favorite part of this hotel is the breakfast. The selection was amazing - we absolutely loved sitting by the windows and watching "the world go by" as we ate. Definitely recommend staying here!

Smart hotel in old Dutch style

3rd stay; all good except the stairs, but then that's auld Amsterdam

While the hotel itself is nice, the rooms were kind of lacking and decor and charm like the rest of it. Some things in the bathroom could have been upgraded and I was standing in 3 inches of water by the time I was done with my shower. I let them know about it, and they were supposed to go fix it, but they never did. The breakfast was decent. They did help us out by letting us leave our bags a few times before and after checking in and out.

Staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast room was a lovely room to start the day in- breakfast choices were great. The stairway was daunting but this is Amsterdam. Our stay was a pleasure

I couldn’t have asked to be in a better location. The hotel was beautiful and very easy to get around.

Posizione strategica. In pieno centro vicino a tutto quello che c'è da visitare. Struttura in pieno stile classico olandese un salto nella Amsterdam di inizio secolo. Unica nota dolente mancanza di ascensore e scale strette è vortiginose.... Avendo aptato per una quadrupla ci hanno dato una camera All terzo piano senza aria condizionata praticamente un sottotetto con finestre a lucernario..... Si moriva di caldo. Colazione accettabile.

The location is great, it is a very beautiful and old hotel. But there is not air conditioning and in summer it was so hot that it made the stay unbearable. Besides, we stayed in the 3rd floor with no lyft and the stairs so tiny that we really struggled to carry our suitcases.

Detta hotell låg mitt i centrala Amsterdam med gångavstånd till allt. Vi kunde inte önska oss bättre läge. Fantastisk kanalutsikt från rummet också. Frukosten var helt ok. Vill dock nämna att det är väldigt branta trappor på hotellet. Vi är väldigt nöjda och rekommenderar hotellet.

Lovely old building in a perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. Very steep steps unsuitable for infirm trying to take their bags upstairs to rooms on any of the four floors. Otherwise perfect for the price.

Pros: clean, friendly staff, breakfast area was beautiful and good variety. Free hot drinks. Cons: the stairs will kill you . I kid you not. I don’t have mobility issues and still found carrying luggage up the stairs very dangerous. Amsterdam has narrow stair cases but from a safety standpoint there should be either a lift or old school pulley to hoist luggage up. Other major con was the distance to public transport. If you are short on time those walks to public transit will be very inconvenient (again speaking relative to Amsterdam which is very well connected) . Overall I don’t think I will stay here again which I feel bad about saying considering the staff here is nice.

Beautiful old historic hotel, with winding staircases, loved the view from the room, loved that the windows opened, comfortable clean bed, nice table in room, clean shower and bathroom, friendly staff, friendly owner, great breakfast and breakfast room - sunny, lots of tables, good food. Thank you for a wonderful stay.!

Lovely hotel for young environment, great breakfast. Stairs height are very steep and no lift being this an old school and very typical house type you can find in Amsterdam. The single room is great for solo travelers, the room and bed sheets were clean and up to expectations. If you’re leaving early and can’t find taxis they offer an exclusive transfer anytime upon booking. Thank you!
