Cosy and friendly hotel at a perfect location. Very calm and quiet street and walking distance to all sights. Would definitely stay there again. Rooms aren’t super big but definitely not too small.

We had a great stay. All the staff were great and friendly. The room was great. Location great. Minor things… people above us were a bit noisy late, but they sound like they were having fun. The bathroom was fine but was a bit awkward with the beam right over the sink.. being tall posed some hazards in the shower and near the sink.. I guess that is understandable with the building age. Overall great stay. Thanks!

Un super hôtel dans un super quartier, calme et agréable et on peut se rendre à pied partout. Super staff, chouette petit déjeuner et on se sent comme à la maison. Un super concept. I love Mr Jordaan’s place ❤️❤️❤️😝

We loved the friendliness and relaxed atmosphere of Mr Jordaan. The canal-side setting is peaceful and beautiful, just a few minutes walk from bars and cafes. The room had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful at all times. A cool hotel, we loved it!

Need a place to relax in the evening, other than the dining room. The room was super small

Stayed two nights at Mr. Jordaan. The room was clean, if small. That said, I highly recommend this hotel. The service was above and beyond what I have ever experienced at a hotel. The employees were helpful in planning our days and greeted us like we had been their long lost guests. We found the amenities in the common area very welcoming. Beautifully located so that every walk from the hotel took us to another fantastic location in the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay was just ok. There are number of positives about hotel. The location is excellent- quiet, very beautiful, and a short walk to cafes. The staff is friendly and helpful. However the condition of room and bathroom is 2 stars only. The room is darkly lit, the shower is tiny. The bed is very uncomfortable. If you are a couple you will be sleeping on separate small twin size beds that stand together but aren’t attached together. Little movement pulls them apart. I don’t want to stay there again.

I absolutely love this hotel. Mr. Jordaan offers so much more than just a place to stay—it truly feels like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and charm. A friendly handwritten card and some delicious gummies were waiting for me in the room—such a simple gesture, but it set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel itself is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with cozy rooms that strike the perfect balance between comfort and style. One of the lovely perks is the free daily drink from the lobby—just another thoughtful touch that shows how much they care about their guests. They also provide clear and helpful instructions for everything you might need during your stay, including easy access to Wi-Fi and other essentials. But the real highlight was during check-out: they surprised me with a goodie bag filled with snacks, cookies, and drinks. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture, and it truly speaks to the exceptional attention to detail and genuine hospitality that defines this hotel.

My wife and I were on our 30th anniversary trip, and this hotel is easily our favorite of all time! So much character, so much fun, and so welcoming! The staff was amazing, the decor was so original and creative, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. This boutique property is a real treasure!

I originally booked this hotel due to the location and price. Both of which were great! But what quickly became my favorite part of this hotel is the people that work there. Everyone was warm, helpful and welcoming. Bianca helped us one evening and really saved the day! The hotel is located on a quiet and safe canal yet within walking distance to all of the sites. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. They even gave us a little reusable water bottle since the water is filtered and drinkable in Amsterdam. The hotel was close to many restaurants as well. Coffee and tea were readily available and every afternoon they had pasteries. Such a class act of a hotel! I highly recommend Mr. Jordaan to anyone looking for an amazing stay in Amsterdam.
