Se state cercando una struttura centrale, economica e originale per vivere il vostro soggiorno ad Amsterdam allora questa è una buona soluzione. Vi consiglio di munirvi di senso dell’avventura e di adattamento perché le cabine sono davvero piccole (come descritto) e super essenziali, in compenso la colazione abbastanza varia.

Dopo aver vagliato diverse opzioni avevo scelto "the cabin" incuriosita dalla particolarità della struttura e dalle foto della colazione molto invitante. Purtroppo a colazione mi sono scontrata con un'offerta culinaria decisamente esigua e di scarsa qualità. Per quanto riguarda la cabina, che avevo già messo in conto fosse di scarse dimensioni, il problema è stato di altra natura. Per far fronte agli spazi ristretti sarebbe stato "comodo" avere almeno modo di appoggiare la valigia su una superficie, un paio di mensole o una struttura simile avrebbe risolto il problema senza occupare spazio. Per il bagno beh, diciamo che a parte l'inconveniente di non avere l'acqua calda l'ultimo giorno e di avere solo sapone per le mani a disposizione il vero problema era un'altro...la ventola d'areazione non funzionava e non essendoci ricircolo d'aria la puzza di umido stagnava in tutta la stanza...senza contare che non essendoci nemmeno un tappetino per asciugare i piedi dopo la doccia tutto il pavimento rimaneva perennemente bagnato. Altra pecca a dir poco intollerabile...passino le lenzuola completamente sgualcite come se fossero state buttate lì a caso...ma il piumino completamente giallo e macchiato che sbucava da sotto metteva letteralmente i brividi. In ultimo ma non da meno direi che l'ospitalità ha lasciato a desiderare, personale poco cortese e molto sbrigativo...poi scusate ma in quale struttura non hanno nemmeno un phon da mettere a disposizione degli ospiti?

Loved the location

Check in instructions were incorrect - the front desk team were on another boat. A fault on board led to Intolerable noise from pumps at night meant I had to leave and find another hotel at 01:00

We were booked for two nights here, the room was small and dirty with a window in the ceiling that looks down on your bed. The toilets don't work and the room did not lock. There were people who weren't staying on the boat until 4am shouting and running around. Two of them broke into our room and when we looked for staff there was none. We booked another hotel for the next night. I don't think I'm over reacting when I say this was the worst place I've ever stayed we left because it's not safe.

The boat is well located but there are some things that are worth mentioning. The staff is ‘just doing their job’ to the minimum, on the boat you hear all the noises of other guests and staff and our cabin was leaking water (condensation) which is normal at a boat but not comfortable when it’s above the bed… Breakfast is good but also to the minimum. All together a little overpriced but the location makes it a ‘okay choice’ after all.

Ontbijt was ver onder de maat. Niks voorradig meer boter, kopjes en een vieze hond die tussen het eten door loopt de schudden. En een jonge knaap die die het runnen moet maar het werk totaal niet ziet of de interesse er niet is.

The light in the room wasn't working, and we had to use our flashlights. The staff response was oh yes we've been experiencing issues with this room, so you would expect them to check before we arrive??? Anyway to be fair they offered us in return free bike rentals for a day which we're not interested in and to try and repair the issue, which we declined because we didn't want anyone accessing the room whilst we are there. The room was really cold and the bed sheets were all very humid which we didn't understand why in the beginning. Then, during the whole night the ceiling was dripping water and my partner stayed awake all night and everything became wet, we had to reorganise our stuff in the room. I had to cut my trip shorter, we checked out on the 2nd day instead of the 3rd because we couldn't tolerate staying for one more night. The staff did ask us if something's wrong and we did explain but the feedback was okay what room? Aha ok.

The room and bathroom were very dirty!!

Pas de lumière dans chambre, plafonnier hors service. Une des couettes était humide a du être remplacée. Sur la description on parle de parking. Il n'y en a pas. Et si vos voisins sont des fêtards c'est très bruyant.

The light did not work at room and it was told that it cannot be fixed, raditor could not be turned off and the it was like a furnace, when asked they had suggested to keep the windows open, it was on a boat so you could imagine people being able into look into the rooms, I would not really stay again at this property
