Wow! What a find! A delightful hotel with amazing, welcoming staff. I usually stay in central Amsterdam but this is just a couple of stops on the metro and a short walk from the De Pijp metro station and sooooo much nicer. Highly recommended.

I decided to give the hotel a second after having a first bad experience. This time was definitely better but the hotels service continues to fail in my opinion. The rooms are nice, but hotel breakfast was understaffed several days, which led to me not been able to order anything for breakfast in spite of waiting in the breakfast area for more than an hour, my order was never taken. At check in i got offered a complimentary check in drink on what the hotel said "on the house" to later realize that i was actually charged for the drink. Not a big deal, but worth double checking with the staff whether you will be charged by what they offer or not :)
The rooms are pretty, simple, newly renovated which is very good.
in general for the prices, the hotel could deliver better service in my opinion.

The hotel is entirely renovated, which is a great perk. The rooms are pretty nice, very simple but nice, though lacking a lot of things that you would expect from a four star hotel, and especially a Marriott hotel. The breakfast buffet Was very average, but more on the lower end, I feel that I have been to plenty of hotels of lower star rating with much better quality buffet breakfast. The breakfast items you were able to order were tasty.
Service at the hotel was a different to most hotels I have been to. Had several issues with the cleaning that wasn’t done properly any of the days I stayed at the hotel. I found several hairs in the shower that were not coming from me, but they never were taken away my entire stay of six days. The room that I got assigned was also connected to two different rooms with no Soundproofing, which meant you could hear other guests doing everything as if they were right next to you and that affected my sleep quite a bit. When i asked the reception about it, they told me to put a towel to block the noise which felt strange. No toiletries are provided and the hotel reception doesn’t seem to know what they have and they don’t. Had several issues with my reservation and my card getting charged 4 times for the same reservation. Still waiting for a reply from the hotel manager regarding all the issues I encountered. In general a hotel with a lot of potential but lacking better management and procedures to accommodate international guests

Excellent property. Superb breakfast. Great location. Only issue was that the room was not quiet. We kept thinking the window was open hearing the street noise. We also had an adjoining door to our room to another room. You could hear absolutely everything, yes, absolutely everything. Unfortunate for the noise. Otherwise great place.

Excellent hotel in the last days of exterior painting and interior renovation. Staff couldn't have been nicer; our jr suite was on the corner and had three big windows. For our purposes (the Concertgrbouw, the Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum) the location was ideal. Easy access to many tram lines as well

this was our sixth stay at the College Hotel the second under the Marriott Ream as one of their autograph collections
small, quaint, quiet, close to museum, playing and easy to get around the city on the tram
The hotel is being renovated starting this Monday through I think 18 March, but we went ahead and booked our reservation for next winter holiday
Love the staff and looking forward to being back

Stijlvol hotel in een prachtig historisch pand. Door centrale ligging kan je vanuit hotel veel lopend bereiken en anders is het handig dat de tramhalte voor de deur is. Heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt.

Wonderful hotel, would highly recommend and will hopefully stay myself again. Only downside I can find is there was some scuffed paint in the room but that’s very minor and me being picky. Beautiful hotel overall and wonderful service
