It was adequate for what I wanted. Walking distance to shopping mall was a bonus

On arrival we were greeted by Honey, we were shown to our room and even offered to carry our bags, as we enter our room, on the bed was our towels etc with 2 chocolate mini bars..the service we received from honey was outstanding and was no trouble if we wanted something .. Thank you Honey we will come back

What can i say, gone down hill, stayed a few times and normally stay in a spa room, tried the spa and alas it does not work, went to tell to be told its not a spa and not advertised as such, funny, i just looked and it says spa studio with jetted tub...with a wonderful picture of the spa. also be aware if you have stayed before, no more sky channels, Light in the bathroom not working found bulbs in the bathroom cabinet but fixture is not secured and falls out

It is a great place to stay, and there is a shopping mall and Pak & Save across the street. Some of the facilities might need to have some maintenance, such as the draws, range hood, etc. otherwise, 'Property Conditions' should be 5 stars.

We were greet by a very friendly host who showed us to our room unlocked the door and already had the heating on so the room was lovely and warm as it was wet and cold when we arrived. The room was lovely and clean the bed was so comfy and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again

The location and parking was great and the room was ok.... good to have a stove and microwave and it was clean. However, the room was advertised as having a spa bath which is the reason we chose it. Basically it didnt work, the 'on' button was broken ... very annoying. Also the battery cover was missing off remote contron for tv so we had to switch it off at the wall. Other less problematic issues were red wine stain on carpet and broken drawer in kitchen.

They knocked our door at 9am and asked what time would we leave. I think this is quite inappropriate. The room also has bad smell.

I would not stay there again it was nothing like the picture when I booked it

Dirty . So dirty!! . Spa bath was full of hair , food crumbs all over carpet - hadn’t been vacuumed side table drawer filthy, bathroom floor dirty , light switches and handles grubby . The tv kept on losing signal so could barely watch it .Only 2 pillows supplied , bed very uncomfortable . Blankets in cupboard were shoved inside screwed up into a ball. They were also stained One the worse motels I’ve ever stayed in . Do NOT stay here . I was charged $200 and it was just awful

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war sauber und unser Zimmer mit kleiner Küchenzeile war gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir kamen nach den Öffnungszeiten an und es hat trotzdem alles gut geklappt. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt.

Great location

The managers should be ashamed of the standard of their accommodation. The microwave in our room was filthy There were no pillowcases on the spare pillows. The tea towel had holes in it. There was a plunger but no plunger coffee unusual these days. Hand washing soap was in the bathroom but none in shower cubicle . The towels were not very white. Only product to use in shower was large shampoo bottle that looked like things were floating in it. There were no face washers. The iron plate was broken. The shower curtain was too short for the cubicle. I’ve not stayed in such a poorly service motel for years. I would not recommend this motel .

Sadly, the rooms facilities have declined since my last stay under previous owners. Icebox in fridge totally iced up and dripping- needs a defrost. Information folder not in room; TV had to be checked out as initially not working then could only get netflix. No TV channels. Soap dispenser empty.

Only 10 mins walk to Hagley Park and so close to major shopping malls, cafes and medical centres.

Great experience. Lovely underfloor heating in the tiles. Very clean and tidy. Will use again.

Room was very clean and sufficient for my stay. As it was weekend - no staff on duty but not a problem as key system for entry very easy & texted to phone. Some noise as room near to busy road so if possible would prefer a quieter room next time if possible. Will certainly book again as so handy for Uni and the Mall shops etc.

I would hand rails in the bathroom. Support by toilet and for in out of shower.

It's conveniently located, 15mins walk to UC and 5mins walk to Riccarton Westfield. Plenty of parking available and lots of takeaways, shops and eating places close by. Room itself was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and they also allowed me to keep my luggage as I arrived early check-in and when I checked out, again they let me keep my luggage till I sorted things out. Thank you
