Cosy and quitl place. The hotel was little bit far away to town centre but it wasn't matter. The hotel has shuttle bus and water taxi.

clean and comfortable hotel

Check in was amazing - the woman serving me was so lovely and helpful. Room has amazing views and lovely beds, cant fault it.

Bond of $100/night taken, with it taking up to two weeks to be refunded. Unexplained extra costs. Parking provided, but we had to pay $32 for two days parking. We could get the same amenities, plus a washer and dryer in Frankton for half the price. We will not be staying there again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and loved the amazing view looking out to the lake

Great place to stay

I would recommend this hotel, beautiful location outside of Queenstown. Friendly and helpful staff. The front desk staff were very accommodating and lent me a charger. Parking available. Great studio apartment with wonderful few of Lake Wakatipu. Had a great walk around the lake from the hotel to the Boatshed Bakery and beyond.

We had a fabulous time at Double Tree Hilton, Queenstown. We requested a room upgrade to the lakeview room - totally worth it! The staff were very friendly and service-orientated. On our first morning, a technical problem in processing our breakfast order meant we went without breakfast – not a big deal from our point of view. However, this is obviously something The Hilton management and staff take more seriously. The staff were very apologetic, offering a free bottle of wine and breakfast. The service we received from Cydea, Alberto and the wider team was exceptional and greatly appreciated. The hotel has a great swimming pool and facilities, and with it is perfectly located for those who want to avoid the traffic to/fro Queenstown. Water taxis run every hour (or so) which meant it was a pleasant way to travel to Qntn. This has been our third time staying at this hotel, and we will return again. thank you!

Watch for parking. There is paid parking around the facility. Quiet and comfortable. .

Great staff, especially the front desk!

Giz at reception has to be the most helpful receptionist I have ever dealt with, seriously welcoming when you arrive, and nothing was ever to much for her.. Loved the place from arrival, and the cookies are yumm! It’s abit out of Queenstown, say $40 uber ride each way, but UberEats also works and the location is amazing.

Had such a wonderful stay at this hotel the bed was so comfortable to sleep on had a very restful sleep. The room was nice and cosy, very convenient to have a mini kitchen in the room to make your meals if you dont feel like dinning out. The service is definitely 5 star and the buffet breakfast was well worth paying for.

This is our second stay at this hotel, the first time was not a great experience but this time it was with only one downside, the parking. There was next to no parking available when we arrived around 8pm. We lucked out on our second drive round with a park in a gravel area at the back of the hotel but the parking is owned by a third party and is $16 a night. The hotel itself was great.... the person at reception was awesome, really helpful and nothing beats a warm cookie on arrival.... well, except 2 cookies!!!! The bed is super comfortable and the room overall is nice but the lounge is a little small. We had a late check in and left early the next morning so weren't fussed at having a concrete wall and a gravel carpark to look at. If you are there for a view of the lake it would be worth asking for one when you book it.

Had an amazing stay here. The staff were amazing and so friendly! I will be recommending this hotel to everyone. Giz at the front desk made our trip. She was so helpful with recommendations and was so lovely to chat too. Thank you to the double tree for your amazing hospitality.

Spacious rooms, large shower cabin with many conveniences.

The sunny side of Queenstown! Hotel was fantastic, staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.
