테 와나카 로지

스키여행을 위해서 5박6일동안 지냈습니다. 방은 cottage double room을 사용했습니다. 조용하고 깨끗하고 충분히 넓습니다. 서비스는 아주 친절했습니다. 편안하게 배려해주고 필요한 것을 요청했을때 항상 긍정적입니다. 위치는 걸허서 호수까지 5분정도이고 중심가와는 가까운 편입니다. 주인의 아침식사도 아주 맛있고 저녁때 돌아오면 준비되어있는 케익이나 따뜻한 와인을 마실 수 있는 라운지도 아주 좋습니다. 와나카에서 적절한 가격으로 깨끗하고 친절하고 편안한 곳을 찾는다면 저극 추천할 만한 곳잊니다.

Adequate parking when the adjacent lot is included. Arrival check-in was confusing with limited parking around reception. Variety of breakfast options and access to hot tub were a plus. The biggest drawback was the lack of outdoor lighting. Steps at the front of property are challenging to navigate at night. Excellent location for nearby dining and shops. Large room with nice amenities.

Te Wanaka Lodge is in a nice location (short walk to beach, shopping, restaurants). It has adequate parking, and the wifi worked. Breakfast was good.

Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral. Einrichtung der Zimmer ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Gutes Frühstück.

Staff were fantastic and property is unique and close to everything

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Hotel in Ordnung. Wir hatten ein kleines Studio reserviert. Das Zimmer würde ich jedoch nicht unbedingt als "Studio" bezeichnen. Es bestand aus einem Doppel- und einem Einzelbett. Es gab keine Küchezeile, keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer (nur einen Gemeinschaftskühlschrank) und keinen Tisch. Das Zimmer war nicht sonderlich groß und das dritte Bett störte ein wenig, so dass wenig Platz für die Koffer war. Das Zimmer war an sich aber ordentlich und sauber. Scheinbar war jedoch mit den Wasserleitungen etwas nicht in Ordnung. Wir haben die Personen über uns nachs 23 Uhr duschen gehört, der Fluss des Wassers war sehr laut und störend. Die Straße haben wir kaum gehört. Die Wände scheinen an sich jedoch recht dünn zu sein. Leider gibt es direkt vor dem Hotel wenig Parkplätze, es befindet sich jedoch ein weiterer Parkplatz fußläufig. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war nicht groß, das Ei und der Lachs aber sehr lecker.

👍 Like my review! We had a 2 night stay at "Te Wanaka Lodge" in Wanaka, New Zealand as part of our journey across the country. We chose the location because it was close to downtown, the lakeshore, eateries (including tons of food trucks), and even an awesome cinema. The checkin process could be improved since parking was difficult but earlier communication of a nearby public parking would be helpful. Nevertheless, the staff were lovely and kind showing us several of the rustic common areas (including a hot tub); then we settled into our room. Our room #2 had comfortable twin-sized beds and pillows, communal patio, desk with chair, accessible bathroom with key amenities (conditioning shampoo, body wash, hand soap, heated towel rack, ventilation, heating lamp, hair dryer), several outlets, television, iron and ironing board, and closet space. Since there's no private fridge, there's a communal fridge that is first come first served. There is also a washer and dryer on site for a fee. The internet can be slow at peak times but sufficient for email and navigation. The highlight was the delicious breakfast (included for a fee) where we had eggs Benedict with bacon on toast the first morning and scrambled eggs with bacon the second morning alongside a spread of bread, jams, peanut butter, museli (granola), yogurt, tea, and coffee! There was fruit in the afternoon along with coffee and tea. We would consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Friendly hosts. Modest rooms but do not book if the breakfast is a selling feature for you. Bad coffee, undercooked bacon, white toast and canned fruit - felt like stepping back in time to the 80s when we didn’t know what a good breakfast could be. With so many good options near by for eating, focus on doing one thing well (good coffee!) and let that kitchen be for guest use instead.
