Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, great location and very eco friendly. The room was a bit compact, but had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated all their efforts to be eco conscious. Also had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant. Highly recommend this 5 star hotel.

Exceptional location. A 5-min walt from cruise terminal (you really don't need a taxi...you can see hotel from ship). Staff were superb, very accomodating indeed. The shops, concert arena, boat terminals etc are within easy walking. A few VERY SMALL changes we would make...but NOTHING that would stip is from ever stayi g here or highly recommending it. We would add to each room a 'magnifying mirror' - as this would help those who want to do make-up, shave etc. Also for some strange reason they tend to vacuum the corridors again at about 9pm. This is a little strange especially for anyone wanting an early night due to an early start the next day. Regardless of this, we really loved this hotel.

I loved the property, where it was, staff was fantastic. Dislike, rooms were quite small such that my husband couldn’t move out of his side of the bed if I had the closet or coffee strongly doors open.

Hotel staff all are friendly and do all to make you comfortable. Right in city center for all tours and near the wharf. Lively area if you are into clubs n pubs. Great location near ice cream parlors Restaurant food is good- if I love fish go for it. Sam did a great job . Clara helped plan surprise of flowers for me. All staff don’t know names but good. Just for towels etc if you need a h change daily please ask. I think being eco friendly they want u to resuse but they don’t dry. Good hotel to stay.

The Hotel Britomart is a very nice place to stay. Excellent location. Staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. The fish restaurant, Kingi, is outstanding (we ate there every night, despite there being excellent restaurants in town). The modern design is elegant, especially in the old building that includes the restaurant, bar, and reception, but also in the rooms, which are extremely attractive, clean and comfortable. The reason for four stars instead of five is that the Hotel Britomart, like so many hotels, has insufficient drawers and cupboards in which to put your belongings. So we ended up living out of our suitcases, which was inconvenient. In addition, the room temperature, shades, and lights are operated electronically, as well as, in some cases, individual light switches. The two systems compete making it difficult to get the lighting right in the bathroom or to control the lights from the bedside. Despite these shortcomings, we’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Post industrial design hotel. Very clean and inviting. But the rooms are small. It's difficult to navigate with baggage and limited storage. No desk and limited outlets to work with laptop. Expensive though comfortable.
