Eliassen Rorbuer has a really big area, with its own restaurant and a bakery (which opens in June), and private saunas you can book for a fee.
The place feels cozy and traditional with all the wooden decor. I booked the Waterfront Superior One-Bedroom Cottage. While it's not super spacious, the kitchen has everything you need, just bring your own seasonings. The bathroom is clean and warm, and they have a smaller hot water tank to be eco-friendly, so if two of you are showering, try to wrap it up in about 40 mins.
The outdoor seating area isn't a terrace, you have to go inside to get to it. If it snows a lot, the skylight can get covered and you might not see the sky. I stayed for two nights, on the first night, the skylight was completely covered with snow, so we had to go outside to catch the Aurora . But on the second night, after some rain melted the snow, we could enjoy the Aurora from both inside and out.

The room was great - kitchenette had enough to be able to cook simple meals. There’s a store not far to go food shopping - but check if your room has a freezer or oven/microwave first.
Only downside was the breakfast, it was fairly small/limited, which makes sense but not worth the price IMO.

Der Aufenthalt hatte ein leichtes "Hotel-Camping-Flair", war insgesamt aber eine positive Erfahrung. Das Schlafzimmer und auch das Bett waren für meinen Geschmack etwas zu klein. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, allerdings eher auf Basisniveau.

We had an outstanding stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which was truly appreciated after a long day of travel. The room was impeccable, equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. From cozy bedding to modern conveniences, everything was just perfect. Que quarto show. Ficamos no 54c e na salinha da frente tem como baixar uma cama então dormimos olhando a vista.
Infelizmente choveu. A manhã seguinte. Mas mesmo assim o lugar é lindo. Super indico

My room was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was furnished with the basic, microwave oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The living/sitting area had large windows looking over the water and skylights. The staff was very helpful with all info I needed.

Words and pictures cannot describe the beauty of Lofoten and we were lucky enough to have such an experience. The mountains are majestic and breath taking - everywhere we looked! The cabins are wonderful especially those facing the water. Hiking the 1,987 steps of Reinebrining is 100% worth it for the best views to experience. The local fish and chips snack bar has the nicest person to take your order. The drives are awesome from end to end with a few places to eat, especially in Reine.
