Stovetop was a problem and the room on 2F was not expected. Best to check all the details. But the staff made up for it. Tried to fix the stovetop issue and then opened up another room where the stovetop was functional. The hotel also threw in a breakfast due to the issue. Otherwise great place. Hotel is right next to the supermarket and stores. Very convenient and scenic location.

Well equipped just the bathroom is not heated enough. But I guess it is because the building is a bit old

Excellent experience at the Svalbard Lodge. Room was clean, although a little outdated. Loved having a washer. The staff was great. We got tired of taking our shoes off every time we went from one building to the other, but that’s the way things are done in Longyearbyen. Dinner at the Polfareren was fabulous! It was a birthday trip and they made it special.

Günstige Lage, gute Ausstattung, angenehmer Aufenthalt!!!

Flott og stor leilighet som er perfekt for en familie.

Our room was so comfortable. We loved having a bedroom each and the room was bright and cheerful. The staff helped us with luggage and also with arranging tours.

This is a lovely property. The beds were comfortable, and the living area/kitchen were spacious. Having two bathrooms (one full, one half) was extremely convenient. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the temperature in the lodge was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Really great stay in convenient spacious apartment at the heart of Longyearbyen - can't fault this apartment - great views too!

Svalbard Lodge. A basic 2 bedroom apartment with very good kitchen with oven hot plates and dishwasher. The bench is a bit awkward due very low cupboards There is less than one meter from cupboard to bench. Not good for tall people. A large bathroom with washing machine and bath with shower. The bedrooms are typical Scandinavian very small with just bed or beds. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Brandon the Filipino handyman was brilliant. A great conversationalist who loved a joke or two. He was excellent at talking and working at the same time. He quickly fixed the problem managing things in a professional way.

Perfect place , in the middle of the main street. Warm and well equipped all over. Comfy beds and duvets. Would def. Go back and already recommended to colleagues and friends Nice wiew to sukkertoppen and spisshusene. And raindeer walking just outside 😍

Really good. Clean comfortable. Can’t fault anything at all.

Stora utrymmen och nära till allt

toppenställe- rymligt, rent, centralt och supersköna sängar! det som drar ner lite är avsaknad av torkskåp och mikro annars perfekt för oss damer.

It was the first time that I brought my mum to Longyearbyen and we are very happy with our stay at the Lodge. We booked a room for 4 but there was only 2 of us so it was super spacious. Even so, i think it is still a good size for 4 adults. We liked that there we could cook here and there was a bar downstairs that serves nice pizza when we didnt feel like cooking. It is also just 1 minute from the main Svalbard Hotell so you could have a nice meal there too. Location is great, just on the main street so you didnt have to walk far to get to the supermarket. Near to airport bus dropoff point and tour pickup point as well. The only downside is there is no lift so we had to lug our big luggages up the stairs. Lucky for us we were given the room at level 2 otherwise we might not have been able to make it. Overall still a perfect stay, we would definitely return to this hotel when we visit Longyearbyen again in Summer.

Place was huge. Clean. Easy to get to. Right in the middle of everything, so the location was perfect. Only issue we had was that we had no idea bedding wasn't included. Other hotels we have stayed at there had sheets and polliws, this did now.

Fantastisk lägenhet som hade allt vi behövde, fräscht och fint, väldigt sköna sängar. Vi kunde inte haft det bättre, perfekt med 2 sovrum och kök/social plats i mitten. Vi reste 2 par och det var bra utrymme att röra oss på, tack för allt!

Veldig bra opphold i en flott leilighet som anbefales på det varmeste.
