CASA MIRANGO is a cozy, charming clean guest house in alto Boquete, Panama, complete with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, dining room, living room, and kitchen. Accommodations exceeded expectations. Located in a well maintained, authentic, out of the way-non urban countryside setting. Not a hotel, no maid service, no pool on the premises, no problem. Mostly quiet except for roosters crowing at daybreak. With advance notice and for reasonable rates, proprietors offer roundtrip transport between airport and Casa Mirango, and will coordinate local tours. Our personal introduction to the community, rather, immersion, included a ride to nearby coffee plantations, farms, in town restaurants and shops, and a day trip tour to Boca Chica - all of which proved to be high points of our week long visit to Panama! It doesn't get much better than the care and attention to detail extended by the proprietors! In fact, their friendly, kind, considerate hospitality made it difficult to leave Casa Mirango. We are eternally grateful to have visited this haven. Note: Plan to pay in cash for all charges, credit cards not accepted.
