Good clean rooms, and very friend service. You can’t beat it! Very close to the main square.

For some unkonwn reason the reservation for a room with a queen bed was not registered and they gave us a room with two singles. In such a majestic palace, the rooms where average at most. Disappointing

Everything was great but for one issue: they decided to do maintenance work at midnight and then again at 6 am!!! And nobody answered at the counter so there was no way to stop it. Not acceptable for the price paid and the level of the hotel.

Juan was amazing at this hotel. We arrived very early in the morning so our room was not ready. He got us situated with some coffee and snacks and gave us an intro as to what to see and where to eat in Arequipa. Very attentive and friendly.

Lovely building. Our room in the old building was huge. The staff were fantastic and very helpful particularly those that greet you as you arrive and at the bar. Very well located to see all the sites on foot with restaurants and bars all a very short walk away.

Great place. 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas. Clean, great food, great staff.

Excelente localização no Centro Histórico de Arequipa. Café da manhã muito bom e completo, cama confortável e ótimo banheiro . O único detalhe que no nosso quarto família para casal e duas crianças, não havia camas de solteiro separadas . Melhor hotel que ficamos em todo Peru! Precisamos deixar as malas para um passeio de 2 dias e eles foram super solícitos !

Excellent staff

4 out of 5 stars We had a great stay in Arequipa, and overall this hotel is a solid choice. The biggest highlight by far is the staff—everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. They’re a huge part of what makes the hotel work so well. The location is excellent—within easy walking distance to just about everything in the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though not fancy. One thing to note: many of the rooms have windows that face into interior hallways, which means you’ll want to keep the blinds closed for privacy—unless you’re into hallway peep shows from strangers passing by. The breakfast buffet was good, with a decent variety, but not quite at the level of some other hotels we’ve stayed at in Peru. And while the coffee is drinkable, it definitely wasn’t the best we’ve had (this is coming from people who really enjoy their morning brew)! In the end, we think this is a very good place to stay and would absolutely recommend it—just with a few minor caveats that kept it from being a full 5 stars.

Fine hotel. Took over an old chapel, I believe. Kept the historic bits, and added nice rooms on the back end.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is located within a historic building and it has a great location just a few blocks from the main plaza. The room was comfortable and the common areas were lovely!

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and kind. We will continue to stay here when we come to Arequipa.

Spacious, clean, historic building

Suites are preferred. Friendly staff. Not luxurious but upscale with convenient location to historic city center.

We had a really lovely stay at this beautiful, colonial hotel very close to the historic centre of the city. Our superior king room was in a modern addition to the building, but traditionally decorated with a huge, comfortable bed that had nice white bedding and quality Sol alpaca throws. The spotless bathroom was large and well appointed. We loved the ambience of the foyer and also really enjoyed having breakfast in the pretty courtyard, with a gentleman playing a harp. We also had a very good dinner in the nice hotel restaurant. In addition, the staff were friendly and helpful. Great shopping, restaurants, the monastery and other places of interest were a very easy walking distance away.
