el hôtel es mas un 3estrallas que un 4.... el spa ni estaba en servicio, esta bien pero ni vale el precio por nada... Llegamos el la basura estaba llena... pero la gerente nos dio un masaje gratis.

The hotel was in a perfect location, close to both the train station and the bus stop to Machu Picchu. It was beautiful, spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options. I would definitely stay here again!!

We made the mistake of booking two "Street View" rooms which turned out to be directly above the train tracks. There is no form of sound proofing so we were awakened anytime a train went past. We were willing to pay for a transfer to the quieter "River View" rooms but the hotel was fully booked so we had to just stick it out.

O Casa Del Sol é um hotel extremamente bem localizado e muito bem administrado. O quarto é amplo, confortável, e bem limpo (recomendo com vista para o rio). O box do banheiro é amplo e seguro. O café da manhã é variado e farto. Há um restaurante para jantar com pratos típicos excelentes. A equipe de funcionários é altamente qualificada e prestativa: forneceram orientações valiosas durante toda a estadia (3 dias), inclusive com indicação de guia turístico para a visita ao sítio arqueológico de Machu Picchu, compra de passagens, acompanhamento junto à ferroviária e diversos procedimentos (destaque para Cézar).

El hotel tiene una vista preciosa al río . La cama estaba muy cómoda. A 2 min de la parada del bus y 5 del tren. El staff es muy amable :)

A bit overpriced for what it is. Lovely views to the river, nice room but shabby bathroom. Good breakfast.

Great location! Steps from some of the best restaurants, the train station, and bussing up to Machu Picchu. If you get a room facing the river, the views are magnificent. The constant roar of the river rapids makes for great sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in other hotels in this town, as well as looked into just about all of them. For the price, the suites facing the river are the best I have found.

This is a well run, beautiful, family owned hotel. Everything about our stay here was perfect. I highly recommend this property if you are heading to Machu Picchu.

My husband asked for a wake up call that didn’t happen until 40 minutes later. Bathroom is dimly lit. Room is tiny. Book a room on riverside because front of hotel faces train track. River is loud so it will drown out train noise. First floor is pleasant with nice dining room. Hotel is very close to where train enters town.

Hôtel dans le centre ville d'Aguas Calientes, literie tres confortable et belle vue sur la rivière. Restaurant très bien. Massage très agréable, mais le jaccuzi/piscine du spa ne fonctionnait pas. Attention, ils mentionnent douche/baignoir mais il ne s'agît que dune douche. Seule la chambre la plus grande dispose dune baignoire jaccuzzi.

Not clean, very loud hotel right next to the railroad. Dirty and not a 4 star hotel or staff.

The staff was incredibly ignorant they were not helpful at all. This is not a four star hotel. The Internet doesn’t work and you are right next to the train. The hotel is loud at night and none of the appliances work and the shower and pipes are old do not believe the pictures.

Considering how crowded Machu Picchu Pueblo is, this hotel’s location is great. It may be right next to the train tracks, but at least it’s flat and there isn’t constant foot traffic. Anywhere in this town will be noisy - either from the trains or the river. Pros- staff will meet you at the train station to escort you to the hotel.(A very wonderful surprise). Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. If you don’t see something, just ask. Good sized rooms. Cons- needs updating. The bathtub/shower is a bit scary to use since you need to use a step stool to climb into the tall tub. It also has a significant downward slope for drainage. Older folks will need to be extra cautious getting in and out. The Ecco setting is nice unless u want the mini frig to stay cold. The power turns off when the room key is removed from the slot. I was a little surprised they didn’t offer help with luggage when we checked out. We would have asked if we really needed help but we should have been asked considering this is a “nicer” hotel.
