Casona Terrace Hotel

I thought it was great. I went with a group and they had the rooms ready even before check in. Service was always there to help, it has a great view, and the hotel is very close to Plaza de Armas, so everything was very accessible. The beds were also very comfortable! Very great stay. I am sad I forget the name of the employee who helped us out, but an employee at the front desk specifically was fantastic.

Nice hotel with quiet courtyard after the bustle of the street. Security gate at the entrance. Great breakfast spread, fresh juices and eggs cooked to order. Helpful front desk personnel.

We had several smal but valueable things stolen while our luggage was stored for 3 days. We would not recommend anyone to stay here.

I stayed at the ground floor level for a few nights before moving upstairs. Ground floor rooms don't have windows, a safe or a proper shower. Avoid those at all costs. The rooms upstairs are a lot nicer.

The hotel is perfectly located one block away from Plaza de Armas. The room was small but nice and clean with all necessities. Really liked the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but I had better ones in Peru (Bread tasted old, limited choices, etc.)

Un hotel con una ubicación excelente a una cuadra y media de la plaza principal, museos, restaurantes. Muy tranquilo, la habitación muy cómoda y sobre todo la limpieza era a diario con cambio de sabanas, toallas.Buen desayuno buffet sin ser abundante pero con frutas, panes, jamón, huevos, quesos, zumos, café, etc. La atención del personas muy buena. Daniela es una señorita muy amable para atender al cliente y ayudarle en la solución de inconvenientes que se le presenten. Tenía un tour al Valle del Colca y me recogían a las 3: 30 a.m. y me dieron una bolsa que contenía un sandwiche, fruta y jugo para el camino. Definitivamente recomiendo este hotel y volveré a hospedarme en él cuando vuelva con mi hija a Arequipa. Gracias

En general bastante bien, sin embargo los días de mi estadía estaban puliendo el sillar de las paredes exteriores. Me parece muy bien que le den el respectivo cuidado, pero las habitaciones y las ventanas se llenaban de polvillo y el personal no lo limpió. Deberían tener más cuidado cuando realizan este tipo de remodelaciones, si un cuarto da justo a donde se están realizando los trabajos, personal de limpieza debería entrar a las habitaciones para verificar que el cuarto no haya quedado sucio.

El hotel es muy agradable.Solo le agregaria un frigobar en el cuarto y que dejen la llave de la puerta al balcon del cuarto,para poder disfrutarlo..

Falta mejorar el internet que tienen, aunque el hotel la limpieza y todo es bueno

Overall, we were happy with our stay at Casona Terrace. We were in Arequipa when there were some protests (okay, riots...) going on and the young man at Reception went above and beyond for us. When we couldn't leave for dinner, he found somewhere that was willing to deliver to us and opened up the breakfast room for us to eat. It was most appreciated after a bit of a harrowing trip into the city. The rooms were pleasant and comfortable, it was one of the better beds we had while in Peru. The courtyard is lovely and the upstairs terrace is a nice place to spend some time, as well. The location is very convenient to the main plaza, without being right on the square. The only issue is that the bathrooms are VERY small. Even I, at 5'2 almost didn't have room for my knees when I sat on the toilet. There's no counter space at all and no hooks for bath towels (there is one for a hand towel.)

Our bus was running late because of the demonstrations, arrived at 0130, and had to wake up the on call staff (very small hotel) and he greeted us cheerfully, took us straight to our room, and let us register in the morning after the complimentary buffet.

Boa localização. O hotel estava em reforma. Então bem cedo já estava muito barulhento pela obra. Quarto bom, mas infelizmente a descrição aqui no hoteis.com era diferente da realidade. Foram atenciosos no check-in mas na hora do check-out foi estressante. Quase perdemos nosso ônibus por falha de comunicação.

A 1 cuadra de la plaza principal, habitaciones súper cómodas y muy buen desayuno. Mejoraría la señal wifi en las habitaciones. Excelente atención, nos dejaron ocupar la habitación a las 7 AM.

El hotel es hermoso, la ubicación es perfecta, el desayuno estuvo delicioso la atención del personal es increible. Muy muy recomendado

We arrived early after bussing from Cusco and expected to have to leave our bags there until check in time but the staff found us a room immediately and allowed us to get in very early. We appreciated being able to have a hot shower after the long bus trip. The room was very comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. There was a good size shower with good water pressure and reliable hot water. The hotel was a short stroll to the main plaza in Arequipa and we didn't have any problems with traffic noise during the night. We stayed two nights and after our stay we went on a tour of the Colca Canyon. The staff happily looked after our main bags while we were on the tour even though we were flying out the day we got back from the tour and weren't going to stay another night.
