I paid extra money to get a room with a bathtub. The room did indeed have a bathtub, but the water barely went into it and it never achieved getting hot. I started the night before requesting for it to be fixed and again at 5 o’clock in the morning and they were never able to repair it. It was only after I insisted that they find me a room with a bathtub that I was finally able to Take a bath in another part of the hotel. We’re over, the breakfast was mediocre quality at best. The pool however, was enjoyable and accessible. This was especially important during the hotter times of the day.

Good place to stay before our Amazon Cruise.

The hotel is lovely and well-appointed Ted. Like most hiltons I have stayed at this year, this is construction going on. The pool area is nice.

El peor hotel en el que me he quedado en mi vida. No nos solucionaron un sólo problema. No tienen médico. Me picaron unas hormigas y no les importó. El personal de recepción muy mal preparado. El spa fatal, el masaje malísimo. NO VAYAN.

Food options are good. It was nice to stay here.. good and friendly staffs.

Overall, this is likely the best hotel in Iquitos proper, and the staff is really friendly. The property itself could use some TLC, but overall I would certainly stay again if I am in the area.

What a great way to wind down after an adventure filled trip. Showers=great. Food=wonderful. Bed=so comfortable

Worst experience in life, put a family with baby close to a open bar with lousy music till the midnight , they don’t really care if the guest are getting rest , they prioritize selling alcohol drink , shame on hilton group with this false promise

For being a Doubletree, below par. For being in iquitos, finally a decent place! Downsides; Pool has filthy water Loud music at pool area Ridiculously priced add-ons: airport transfer is 14 soles in uber and hotel charge 120 soles; more than 10 times as much?! breakfast at 25 usd, significantly higher than any other hotel - never paid more than 15usd per person.

Solid Comfort in a Noisy City If you’re looking for a hotel in Iquitos that comes close to a comfortable American standard, this is probably your best bet. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-equipped, with all the amenities you’d expect—air conditioning, good water pressure, comfortable beds, and a nice finish. That said, there’s one big downside: the noise. Tuk-tuks buzz by constantly—day and night—and unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t seem to have any rooms that escape the sound. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. You’ll need them. Overall, everything works—not amazing, but solid. Given what’s available in Iquitos, this is likely as good as it gets.

Nice choice for a short overnight in Iquitos. Well located for seeing the town. Warmly welcomed at front desk. Note: request an interior room if you plan to sleep before midnight. The exterior rooms face the plaza, and you will hear traffic and the loud music people choose to play as clearly as if the room had no windows. Also, the on-site restaurant is nice and convenient, but plan to take your time because service is extraordinarily slow.

Hotel is in the center of Iquitos. Breakfast and drinks great!

Noisy ! Asked for quiet room. I Guess they dont pay attention. Breakfast items were luke warm and average quality for $20 per person. At first they were going to charge us $80 to check in early Outrageous.

The staff were very nice, the hotel is very clean and is a nice respite from the craziness of the city.

I only stay at Double Tree when I am in Iquitos. Staff and amenities are amazing. It’s a safe area with lots of dining options.

This hotel was amazing. From check in to check out. The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Shower was refreshing. Breakfast had many choices and was delicious. Car service was ready to go as soon as I checked out. Overall smooth and easy experience. I am grateful I chose to stay here. Would definitely stay here again if I am in Iquitos.
