Loved the Doubletree Iquitos. It exceeded my expectations. The aesthics were much better than even the pictures. It had a great vibe and a prime location. Service and breakfast were spot on. Room was spacious and comfortable. Loved the pool and the cocktails we had there. So glad this was our base in Iquitos before heading out on the river. Definitely recommend.

Beatiful place for stay in Iquitos

The hotel is pleasant and conveniently located near the plaza and La Casa De Fierro. Luisa at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and accommodating breakfasteas delicious include with my room. However, our stay was somewhat hindered by another staff member who failed to provide water at the front desk; I had to request it from my room, only to be told to purchase water at the bar for 9 soles. It is unreasonable to expect guests to pay for water, as if I order to my room it should be provided free of charge. Our experience at the pool was also disappointing: our server took 40 minutes to prepare a pisco sour despite there being few guests, and he was handling a baby shower alone. Additionally, another staff member was distracted on the phone and forgot to bring me the bill. I provided my room number, 215, and was called at 10:30 p.m. while I was sleepy to sign the bill he had forgotten to bring, which was inconsiderate and disturbed my rest. Housekeeping was subpar; they failed to replace used soap, toilet paper, and towels. I had to personally give them the used items to receive replacements, which is unusual and suggests a lack of trust. I am uncertain who the director of operations food and beverage and housekeeping is, but we expect to receive the quality of service paid for and deserved. Elizabeth Agurto

Staff was not very helpful. hotel shuttle was very overpriced and also not well managed. I scheduled a pickup from the airport and they didn’t come for me. There is a hotel nearby that was very superior for food, service and ambiance.

Room was clean ordered a car for airport transportation. BEWARE site does NOT have many typical American DoubleTree amenities.

There were renovations in the pool, so it was closed & the weight room was closed, 2 amenities I wanted to use. This needed to be advertised so I would have chosen another hotel. No discounts offered :(

Check in staff was not polite. Need better training. Had to bring our bgs to room becuase of poor oeganisation. I wont stay in this hotel again. Poor value for money. Only good thing was hotel security.

We were with them for a short night, but they were accommodating and able to provide services like laundry on a quick timeframe. Breakfast was superb! Room was comfortable.

Lovely staff, very clean and great area to walk around in. Close to shops and restaurants.

I paid extra money to get a room with a bathtub. The room did indeed have a bathtub, but the water barely went into it and it never achieved getting hot. I started the night before requesting for it to be fixed and again at 5 o’clock in the morning and they were never able to repair it. It was only after I insisted that they find me a room with a bathtub that I was finally able to Take a bath in another part of the hotel. We’re over, the breakfast was mediocre quality at best. The pool however, was enjoyable and accessible. This was especially important during the hotter times of the day.

Good place to stay before our Amazon Cruise.

The hotel is lovely and well-appointed Ted. Like most hiltons I have stayed at this year, this is construction going on. The pool area is nice.
