Amazing history and beautiful old building.

The room was clean but very dated. The bathroom needed a lot of cosmetic repairs

Beautiful as a historical monument, requires serious upgrade for a proper hotel use

Ames et surtout corps sensibles s’abstenir,pas d’ai conditionné,un filet d’eau chaude,pas de wifi dans la chambre…Bien sur c’est un hotel historique.Y passer une nuit peur etre sympa!

Hotel histórico.

The hotel needs a solid refresh an investment if is is to remain a place where tourists and professionals will choose to stay while in Lima. Not good value for the money. The location is great of course, in the middle of historic Lima, besides that, the wi-fi is not stable/reliable, neither is the hot water in the morning. I would not stay again if I am to come back to Lima.

A living piece of history located in the central district. So cool to stay in this grand old hotel and realize all who have stayed there from Hemingway to The Rolling Stones. Family of 4 with 11 and 17 year olds from Florida. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Terrible hotel. What once was a beautiful and elegant property is now a decadent property. No A/C, no wifi in bedrooms (unless you, by miracle, get some signal while sticking yourself to the wall).

A charmingly un-modernized hotel, with clean amenities, but the air conditioning was very limited and there were insufficient power outlets near the beds. A good choice for central Lima.

Hotel is super old without air conditioner . All also is great . So if you are ok with old facility and wanna enjoy a hotel with “history “ this place is a good place . If you wanna a good sleep in goo temperature . Please chose another hotel . Btw the breakfast is very good

El hotel es Antiguo pero necesita mantenimiento. No hay manera de comunicarse a recepción desde la habitación. La señal wi fi en la habitaciones no es buena. Tuve que cambiarme de habitación para tener mejor wi fi pero aun así no hubo buena. En temporada de calor, es terrible porque solo te dan ventiladores y no cuentan con aire acondicionado. El personal es muy amable y servicial, eso compensa lo demás

Downstairs, the hotel looks amazing but the rooms are very dated. No aircon,just a fan ,no fridge and no water provided

Its not a refrigator or mini bar in the room. So this can not be more than a 2 stars hotel. The rooms need to be oppgraded.

Pour son charme suranné la visite vaut le coup L’hôtel à 100 ans mais visiblement rien n’a bougé depuis Pas d’eau chaude un matin Très Mauvaise insonorisation. J’avais une chambre en face de l’ascenseur qui faisait un boucan d’enfer. Difficile de dormir. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre

The hotel has incredibly helpful staff, a good breakfast, and a great bar.

Staff was exceptional!!!! Unfortunately the owner of the previously stunning property hasn’t made any improvements to make the hotel comfortable as you would expect from any basic hotel in the USA or any modern country. It lacks many basics like consistent hot water, air conditioning- did not work, room had a very loud plug in oscillating fan which drowned out any conversation you may have. Wood floors so rough I got splinters in my feet two different times even while wearing Socks. Bottom line, if you only stay here to sleep and for the location it may work for you. But if you get uncomfortable in humid and warm stagnant environments then maybe choose something newer and fresh
