Great hotel

Stayed 3 nights. Probably a bit overpriced if you are not taking advantage of all they have to offer. Seemed very clean and overall quite good. Disappointing breakfast. Note, it is not a buffet. You have a choice, eg eggs and bacon plus 1 juice and 1 coffee. Dining area way too small. A good range of amenities in the room plus there is a rooftop swimming pool, a gym and laundry. But if you just need a room to sleep you are probably paying too much for this accommodation.

I would recommend this place for all the reasons I stated. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

No umbrellas at the pool

Extreme noise loud neighborhood. Heavy traffic. Loud barking dogs and loud people near the hotel property. They tried to change me to different rooms but all are noisy. The quieter ones seem not to be available..

Overall very nice. One of their elevators was down and with 32 floors two elevators was an issue at times.

I'm impressed by the location, our room was great. Clean and good bed as well.

What I did not like NO Umbrellas at the pool.

Should be 4.5 stars. Very good value, very friendly staff, easy walk to greenbelt. Lost half a star for the elevator situation. No service elevators and one of three down for maintenance makes for long waits. Recommended!

We had a very positive experience staying at this hotel. The place was clean and the staff were very courteous and prompt in delivering our requests. It was also conveniently near the shopping areas. We will surely book at this hotel the next time we are in this part of the Philippines.

It was such a pleasant experience. The staff at Citadines Benavidez Makati was top notch. Super friendly, attentive, and responsive. Always smiling. Had delicious local breakfast at the lobby restaurant every morning. The Room was great, clean, the 1br was spacious, and just as expected from the pictures on Expedia. Location was perfect. Next to banks, currency exchange, convenient stores, walking distance to the weekend food markets, walking distance to Greenbelt Malls. What I loved most, unlike the ther hotels I have considered, was that it's on a quiet street and getting a Grab taxi was super easy. Ended up canceling my other reservation and stayed another 2 nights til the end of my vacation. Thank you for such a great experience. See you on our next visit to Makati.

Everything is great except for food. The taste of the Filipino dishes were like a fusion and will be better to just stick with authentic recipes or execution.The only one I like was the dried fish and corned beef which obviously cant go wrong just need to heat the pan and cook it. I tried the longaniza it was very sweet skinless, better opt for garlic longaniza from Bulacan or Vigan. The arroz ala cubana tasted like bolognaise sauce and the fried banana was thinly sliced and not so cooked that its like a fresh banana topping. However the foreign dishes were good. The grilled mackarel Japanese dish was not so cooked though. Pepperoni sourdough pizza was fantastic as well as the potato leek soup and summer salad. We loved everything about our stay and shout out to Yves from the gym who was very helpful and gave a great assistance and service when I asked to help me build a workout routine. Ill come back to this hotel because of this. Also the pool and the view from there was incredible. The room is big enough and comfortable. Except the drain at the shower which easily flood the floor outside of the shower area. It is close to Greenbelt and there is a convenience store nearby and massage dental salon around. Great hub if you are looking to do errands before or after your Philippine vacation. We stayed 1 week and could have stayed longer if we did not go to the province.

If you're thinking of booking it do it!! The husband and I stayed in many hotels even expensive ones but I have to say this place is 5 star for a reason! The place is so nice! The staff was so helpful and the entire staff made everything easy and available. I love love this place!! Will definitely book again!

Courteous staff

Good hospitality and great location.

The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. The area was quiet and safe and one is able to walk a few minutes to Greenbelt malls. Many banks and ATMs around. A small convenience store and even a McDonalds close by. The restaurant staff were nice but some were much better than others with speed of service and attentiveness to customer’s needs. You are only allowed one choice from the menu and one coffee, otherwise you’d get charged extra. Since we were there for both Christmas and New Year’s, they offered a buffet setting which was much nicer. We did have to get tickets with specified eating times as the place is small.

Pros : good location near Greenbelt. Well equipped kitchen, good housekeeping, well lit, good aircon with diffuse mode. Modern, new sizeable rooms with v clean linen. A small gym, laundry and pool were assets. A good selection of breakfasts at the cafe with prompt polite service. Cons: it said soundproofed rooms but don’t believe it. Both internal & external noise permeates especially corridor noise. Doors r not padded and slam. The international electrical sockets in the room look useful but US plugs cannot be pushed in except for a couple.

Everything was "A" okay except for the free breakfast: small portion and service was sooo slow. But the food presentation was excellent. Well, it was a complimentary breakfast. Otherwise the hotel was really great. I may stay there again in the future with Expedia's discount.
