OYO 165 Circle-b Apartelle & Suites

Very clean, except for the intercom all facilities are functioning well, good location and walking distance to SM City. My only comment is the toiletries that had to be requested (not readied) upon check-in, requiring real IDs to be deposited at the front desk (cannot understand the logic behind this as even 5-star hotels do not do this. What if we need that ID when we are transacting business in Davao. Guests do not only stay in hotels for vacation but for business purposes, too). Also, the staff needs to improve her attitude. When she dealt with me during check-in, she made me feel as if I cannot afford to pay the hotel (lol) and she had to wake me up at 9 am just to get back the utensils of the food I ordered during the first day of my stay, did not even ask if I will still use them that morning of the third day, she made me feel like I have the intention of bringing the utensils home with me (lol). The stay was awesome but can still be improved.

We booked and paid for 3 individual rooms (2 single and 1 double) but in actuality, we were given a twin-bedroom suite, we somehow had to share bedrooms and a bathroom. Not only were we off by Php1,000 against our original booking, but it was in fact an inconvenient experience. On the day of booking: 5:49 pm I called the property through the “call hotel” option of the app to inform that we will check in late, between 8 pm - 9 pm, as we were still traveling during that time. It was the OYO customer service who answered and the rep. assured me that he will be the one to relay the message to the property. 7:34 pm. Someone from CircleB called me (through phone) to inform me that the 3 rooms we've booked were no longer available. And the only available they had was the twin-bedroom suite. I was still on travel during the time he called, it was getting late and he offered me no other choice but to take the only available room. The receptionist claimed that there was a problem with their booking system. Despite that the rooms were available online, actually, there weren't available anymore. This was not our first time booking a room/s with CircleB. Our past two stays with this property were excellent. The rooms were clean and the previous staff was nice too. We had no issues with our bookings. But this particular experience was just too frustrating, especially for travelers who usually checked in late and were used to do online booking for hassle-free transactions.

Just walking distance to SM City Davao. My kids liked the bunk beds. The room was clean and smelt nice and fresh. A/Con, warm shower and WiFi in the room was good.

It's our 2nd time around to stay here. As usual, two thumbs up!

Way better than I expected. Hassle-free check in and out. Room's quite small but anyhow it's still enough for our family. Beds are comfy and linens are clean. Bathroom's very clean too. Heater's working well. Wifi is fast. Location's good as it's near SM. There's a parking space too. So far, great hotel experience for a very affordable rate. Btw, all staff are friendly & accommodating.
