The toilet is very dirty. There are still napkins, it's not clean and you can't use the toilet because it's very dirty!

no WIFI. far from main area of the city. aircon is not functioning well. comfort room doesn't lock.

We enjoy our stay in San Jose Pension for 6 days and 5 nights. It is good for backpackers and people who are looking for cheap yet comfortable place to stay in. However, there are good and bad points that we consider. Cons: ❌Restroom doesn't have doorknob ❌You usually hear the loud noise of dogs barking at night ❌Not 24hr reception service (they are sleeping at the reception area) ❌Small container of water for taking a bath ❌One of the receptionist is a little bit mad, not accommodating. Pros: ✔️Very accessible location ✔️Clean and comfortable place to stay ✔️Wifi connection (depends on the room where you'll check in) ✔️Good Aircondition ✔️TV with cable connection ✔️Trustworthy receptionist. Overall Rate: 7/10.

Recommended for backpackers, good shared room with aircon. Good shower, very good location and very nice personal.

I availed 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Positive: The hotel has a good location and very convenient when commuting around the city. Clean room with tissues, towels and soaps. With guard during nighttime only. The surrounding seems to be safe with condo and 3 stars hotel around. Accessible to restau and 7 Eleve. Negative: No WIFI and it should be available as indicated upon booking. The receptionist is not aware of my special request, she still considered as within 2 pm - 12 am check in time even though my check in request time is 6:00 pm, additional 75 PHP/hr beyond that hours. The old receptionist is not quite friendly and approachable. TV is not flat screen and no cable. Rooms are old and there is a creepy feeling inside. Our room has a hole covered with paper only (hole from defective door knob). No mirror. Power outlet is not accessible. No bidet. The reception area is a mess Suggestion: Do a renovation and improve your reception area so it can be competitive to other motels. The price is 595 PHP, we previously booked at Gratitude Pension House for 700 PHP/night which is way better with just a 100 PHP difference.

The bed is ok but the floor is dusty. The staff were so accommodating. There was no showing in our room. They should clean up a bit and repaint their rooms so it wont look haunted. They place seems been there quite a while. Slow to no wifi on 2nd floor and up.

Airconditioning is now working properly.

Not so good but its ok for the price.

Magic hotel for under a tenner don't expect the Ritz and you won't be disappointed

the cable service was bad. no clear channels to watch. the air conditioning was shut or broken. no cold air coming out.
