Hotel organised taxi was a great start. Location was great once we realised we were so close to main shopping street. Hotel breakfast and evening food was very good. Hotel was well designed with relaxed smart appearance. We booked a room with outside space to relax but Hotel garden was so good it was not used. Room was short of wardrobe space for us traveling for 10 days and wanting to unpack for the 3 days in Porto at start of holiday. Staff all very professional but friendly with it and happy to duscuss Porto. Gym was good and pool nice and unexpectely relaxing space.

The hotel was nice. The pool area had a spa feel to it. We wound up having 2 rooms - one was a very odd layout but the other made more sense. There were some environmental factors that knocked this down a star for me. There was a homeless man who lived at the end of the block who had others over to drink most nights. It’s not the fault of the hotel but just left me feeling a bit uncomfortable coming and going. We were there while the weather was warm so the pool area being inside and so humid wasn’t ideal. I think if you are there for the much longer rainy season, though, it would be perfect.

We had a very pleasant stay at BessaHotel. The location is excellent: right in the city center, within walking distance of the main attractions, yet surprisingly quiet and not busy or noisy at all. The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the modern room design, including the TV integrated into the mirror, which was a nice touch. The main downside was the bathroom layout. The toilet and shower are in separate rooms, while the sink is located in the main room area. This can be quite inconvenient when two people are sharing the room. If one person wants to use the toilet or wash their hands during the night, the lights can easily disturb the other person who is sleeping. Overall, a very good hotel with a great location, modern facilities, and friendly staff.

The shower floor was dangerously slippery. We found a small paper matt that was not noted by the hotel. The paper matt was small and still slippery.

We loved the hotel. The pool was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was very comfortable and the waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. We were centrally-enough located to walk everywhere and the garden was lovely.

Nice hotel, modern and clean. Rooms had nice amenities.

Lovely hotel, room was ready early, staff were excellent and very helpful. Spa area very relaxing. Bedrooms very clean and hotel is quiet (you don't hear doors banging!!)

No geral, o hotel é muito bom, com um café da manhã excelente e acomodações confortáveis. Contudo, algumas questões precisam ser destacadas, pois um hotel dessa categoria deve oferecer mais flexibilidade. Estive hospedado por 5 dias e, no último dia, solicitei um late check-out. A primeira resposta da recepcionista foi que o hotel estava cheio e que o máximo que poderia oferecer era até às 12h30. Como cliente da Hotels.com, eu possuo alguns benefícios que, em situações de disponibilidade, poderiam ser aplicados, mas neste caso não foi o que ocorreu. Quando perguntei se poderia pagar para ficar até às 16h30, pois meu voo era à noite, a recepcionista verificou e confirmou que havia disponibilidade, mas apenas mediante pagamento. Perguntei então qual seria o valor para estender a estadia até às 16h30; normalmente, os hotéis costumam cobrar metade da diária, mas nesse caso foi-me informado que o valor integral seria de 160 euros por apenas quatro horas. Acabei optando por pagar, mas durante o check-out fui surpreendido com a cobrança de uma nova diária para o estacionamento. Questionei a situação, explicando que minha diária ainda estava vigente, já que havia estacionado meu veículo às 20h do dia 27/05, e teoricamente a diária se encerraria em 28/05 às 20h. O gerente afirmou que a cobrança era correta, mas que não me cobraria dessa vez. Além disso, há uma taxa de turismo na cidade do Porto de 3 euros por pessoa. Na correria do check-out, acabei pagando essa taxa.

Um bom hotel em Porto, com estacionamento conveniente e fácil acesso às principais atrações. Bom café da manhã, quarto espaçoso e confortável, com uma ótima ducha. Recomendo.

Breakfast was great, lots of selection, property is very clean and well maintained! Rooms are very comfortable and as advertised. Location of hotel is wonderful close proximity to shopping and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Clean room, good amenities. Size of room very good. But….. Beds poor - main king size bed excellent but sofa bed terrible. No mattress to speak of, meaning sleeping on springs. Poor night sleep for that person Location good but actual road of hotel not great.
