Full of character located in the heart of the lovely small city of Setubal. The host was very helpful and the accommodation easy to find and access. We opted for the studio as we were only staying 4 nights. It was perfectly clean and functional but also has a little added charm that would appeal to romantics. Good base to explore the city and the surrounding region that is well worth visiting.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The position was excellent with lots of restaurants close by. Although small , the apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Zeta was most helpful, giving us clear instructions on arrival and recommended some excellent restaurants and points of interest. Thoroughly recommended!

The flat was utterly charming. Two rooms: one, a bedroom with plenty of storage space, beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and shutters, a comfortable bed with lamps and bedside tables - and the other: a living and kitchen area also with large window, a fold-out sofa, cushy chair, tv, kitchenette with coffee, tea, fridge, dishwasher, stove and oven, counter with stools. A welcome gift of Muscato was a nice touch. There is heat and airconditioning. The location was amazing, mere blocks from shops, the plaza de Bocage, the Misericordia plaza, the Port of Setúbal where we caught a ferry to Troia, and literally 50 restaurants. On the first floor (in America, the 2nd floor), it was at rare times a lttle noisy. But, after 10 at night and before 7 am, was as quiet as could be. We loved having fresh air at night, and being right in Baixa, Old Town Setúbal! The lovely bathroom completed the flat and had a hair dryer, shower, toilet, sink, ample soaps and creams and lots of shelf space - so convenient when traveling. This flat is in an old building but has been beautifully renovated. Electric receptacles were plentiful as was the hot water.

Apartamento reformado, lindamente decorado, limpeza impecável, excelente localização! Único porém são as escadas para quem tem dificuldade de mobilidade.

Stayed for two days. Lizeta was an excellent host, very concerned about our comfort and very communicative. The apartment was in a great area, and was tastefully furnished & decorated. Excellent toiletries and refreshment. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to Lisbon. Liz and Garrick

I really enjoyed the decoration of the studio and the location. Would be great to have a parking space alocated in the future and some wall isolation as we could hear all the noises from the rooms.around and above

The room is great, very well decorated and you have evthg you need! Locstion is excellent, walking distance to everything. Host is also very friendly. The only downsize for a very light sleeper like me is that the rooms and windows are not soundproofes. Apart from thatz everything is excellent.

Very good accommodation. Clean and nicely decorated studio. Essentials for a light meal/ snack. Close to all transportation. Hostess was very attentive. Would stay again!

Very nice small place. We loved it right away. We had everything we needed to prepare our meal except for an oven but we managed fine. We also loved being in the city center, it’s quite nice to visit. Parking ain’t easy but we found a free street parking first day and second day we paid for one. The only negative point is that it is NOT sound proof between the floors. If you have a neighbour on top floor, you will know without a doubt with kids running, chairs moving…etc

Liseta a été une EXCELLENTE hôte, des plus attentives et toujours à disposition pour nous! L’endroit était vraiment très propre et honnêtement nous avions l’impression de se sentir « à la maison » mais au Portugal. Les environs étaient bondés de petits restaurants, de marchands locaux, d’épiceries & boutiques diverses. C’était agréable de pouvoir s’y promener en journée mais aussi de pouvoir y vivre le « night life » de fin de soirée avec tous les petits bars et restaurants à proximité. Ce fut deux jours des plus mémorable qui ont passé vraiment, mais VRAIMENT trop vite…

My friends and I were very pleased with the property. It is located in an older area of Setubal and we so enjoyed the ambience of the area. All the amenities were close by i.e. a huge market, grocery store, buses, trains and yet within our cobble-stone streets were various food stores and shops selling everything imaginable. An empty suitcase recommended! This location is a safe area to wander about enjoying the culture of the area and the many cafes and restaurants. People very friendly and helpful. Close by is the waterfront and many parks for exploring. If you chose to stay here, enjoy the church bells which mark time. I know we miss them.
