Amazing property, super helpful owner, wonderful breakfast in garden overlooking the city. Rooms are beautifully designed as is the entire property. Quiet side street in short walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend!

A truly spectacular place. It is a 300-year-old villa that has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful, friendly, and gracious. The made-to-order breakfast was outstanding! There are many little spots throughout the gardens where you can relax with a glass of wine and admire the views of the Douro River.

We loved every moment of our stay. Wonderful staff and the breakfasts were the best we had in Portugal! We would definitely stay here again and again. A beautiful property!

Very special place! Exquisitely maintained. Beautiful gardens and outdoor space. The property is on a very steep hill so keep mobility in mind. Ubers can come right to the door, so that was helpful. Otherwise be prepared to get a great workout.

Väldigt mysigt litet hotell lite utanför centrum. En del trappor och ingen hiss. Garage för 4 bilar men trång åtgång. Stora bekväma rum, vackert inredda. Sparsam men mycket vänlig service. Frukost (16€ tillägg) serveras i växthus i trädgården.

Un vrai havre de paix à Porto. Casa Camelia est idéalement située, au calme mais proche du centre. Le jardin offre une superbe vue, la chambre est impeccable, et l’accueil chaleureux. Un séjour reposant et agréable.

The staff at this property were exceptional. I have seldom had such prompt, friendly, service! The rooms were immaculate and had wonderful design touches. Breakfast was served in a beautiful gazebo with views of the Douro. Great walking access to all the major sites. The only challenge was parking, with limited spots and tricky access, which is not unusual in Europe. (We didn’t have a particularly large vehicle and ended up parking on the street.). Highly recommend!

Casa Camilla is such a unique and beautiful property. Our room was spacious and full of character, set in an old house with a lovely fountain and patio that made it feel like a little oasis in the city. Breakfast was served in a gorgeous glass garden room — such a cool and memorable experience. Check-in and check-out were both super easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Getting there was definitely an adventure — the narrow streets were tricky to navigate, and our car barely fit through — but if two women who’ve never driven in a place like that can make it, so can you! Totally worth it for the charm and atmosphere once you arrive.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, truly magical. ✨ We had plans to go out for dinner or drinks with a view in Porto, but once we saw this place, we didn’t need to go anywhere. The view was perfect right here. Our garden view room was beautiful, the staff were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was amazing too. And was close to most of the attractions. Loved everything about our stay, if I ever visit Porto again, I’m definitely staying here 😊

Truly a hidden gem- I would love to stay again. The room was clean and well-maintained. Staffs were super friendly and very much willing to help out with any. The garden was amazing and breakfast at the pavilion was also quite lovely :)

Rafael and Emilio were gracious and helpful host. Upon arrival, Rafael recommended activities, restaurants for our entire stay. Emilio helped with check out and getting out of the very safe garage parking. We paid for the morning breakfast, which was fantastic; coffee, juice, cooked eggs to order fresh, fruit, and fresh bread. I highly recommend contacting them ahead of time to reserve a parking space in their garage.
