Very good. I want to visit again.

I almost don't want anyone to know about the casa, but this is truly the best place to stay in porto. Not 5 minutes from the main historical square. But off the beaten path you walk down a deserted cobbled street; an unassuming door and in you walk to a luscious piazza garden with fountain; beautiful flowers and smells with a plush walk out to see the river and a good deal of porto. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was amazing and so well appreciated. Staff go above and beyond. There are seagulls and their noise, but that is porto. I would come back to the casa anytime.

Lovely 4 night stay at Camelia guest house. Very helpful, attentive staff, especially Elliott. Beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the Douro River. Breakfast was good. Beautiful garden room (Azalea) with very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend.

Impeccable and beautiful place. Excellent and helpful staff. They left a personalized note with fresh flowers in the room.

Hotel is very quiet. Nice terrace with view on the river. Very clean. Staff is super friendly. Breakfast was good.

Ingress/egress not easy as the hotel is on a steep and narrow street.

This was a charming hotel in an excellent location. It was within walking distance of both downtown and the River District, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, and the breakfast served each morning in the garden was a lovely way to start the day.

Une maison d'Hôtes de rêve avec le charme de l'ancien , le confort du moderne . Tout est réussi dans cette maison : la vue superbe sur le Douro , la chambre magnifique , le petit déjeuner royal , le jardin somptueux et relaxant et le personnel très amical et serviable comme si on faisait partie de la famille .Nous sommes restés une semaine et je peux dire que c'était une semaine de rêve . A lovely small hotel on a quiet road away from the busy centre but in walking distance to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Even managed to accommodate us early due to a flight cancellation. Very prompt communication through their WhatsApp. The bed in the room was very comfy and the hotel garden has beautiful views- a lovely setting for breakfast.

What a find. This hotel was fab from start to finish. Firstly very small so felt personal. The hotel is very old but has been renovated to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean as was our room. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was so helpful and friendly ( he also does most other duties as well lol). Our room was amazing. It was very roomy and the bed was super huge. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was great - no problem with water pressure or temperature. There was a mini bar with lots to choose from and very reasonably priced. The only draw back was lack of storage space for clothes but we made it work. The view from our room was amazing. The river, beautiful gardens and Porto. The breakfast was served in the orangery. There was loads to choose from and eggs and bacon were cooked fresh for you if you wanted them. The coffee machine was great and was available all day if you wanted to sit in the beautiful gardens and take in the view. We felt nothing was too much trouble and we were a valued guest and not someone just passing. Although a little out the way it was only a €5 uber ride to anywhere. But everywhere was still walkable so we walked there and got an uber back. But being a bit further out meant it was so quiet so we had great nights sleep. When we come back to Porto we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Keep in mind - if you drive yourself to the hotel to drop off your luggage, you may have a problem driving away - one-way, steep, narrow streets. Take a taxi.

If you have been srolling for days looking for just the right place to sray in Porto - stop - and boook Casa Camelia. A small privately owned botique hotel it is well built using high end materials, clean and well maintained. We had a walk-out room directly into the patio and beautiful garden area. Breakfast is served in a glass-house in the garden, and the view from the property over Porto was just beautiful - especially with all the lights at night. Again, scroll no more. Just grab any available room at Casa Camela. You wont be disappointed.

Quarto excelente, porém com toalhas e travesseiros muito pequenos. Chafariz do jardim estava sujo, com mau cheiro. Merece uma limpeza. Café da manhã bom.

Highly recommend Casa Camelia!!!!We had the best 3 night stay the room was impeccable the bed and bedding very comfortable. The more than plentiful breakfast in the atrium how quaint. From the fresh sweet mandarins we had picked from the beautiful gardens. Casa Camelia is perfectly located to have a quiet stay and within walking distance to all the city sites. All the staff were fantastic very knowledgeable about the area. Dont miss out on this place its absolutely beautiful.
