You're not going to get a better deal in Lagos at this price point! The location is amazing, the staff is extremely helpful when they are available, the room is really spacious and even has a little kitchen/dining area, and overall it was an awesome experience and we would absolutely stay here again!
That said, there are a few things to keep in mind: Lagos Center Studios has the same owners as Inn Seventies, and even though our reservation was for a room in Center Studios, we wound up with a room in Inn Seventies. That said, the locations are super close and the room we had at Inn Seventies was awesome and had all the amenities we would've had in the other spot, and a better view, so we were really happy with the change!
Checking in is a bit tricky as others have said--you check in at Inn Seventies at reception, which is on the top floor. Expedia said check-in started at 2 but it actually started at 3, and we were initially turned away and told check in wasn't there by a maintenance worker, which was a bit confusing, but once hotel staff arrived, they invited us to sit for a drink at the rooftop bar (which is a great spot with a great view, albeit pretty loud music), while we waited, which worked perfectly.
Also worth noting, there's another Inn At Seventies which is FAR out of town, and it’s hard for GPS/Uber to get the right address. I suggest searching for Sky Bar in Lagos, which is the same location as Inn Seventies, but doesn’t have any weird other locations in GPS.

Badet var ikke helt rent. Der var elevator men man skulle alligevel gå på trapper for at gå ind på værelset… der stod ting i vejen da jeg skulle tjekke ud og jeg kunne ikke komme forbi med min kuffer. Ellers var alt godt og placeringen var fantastisk

The wifi never worked, the shower drain never drained while standing in the shower, there was mold on the wall and ceiling of the bedroom. Just a nasty experience. We left a day early because we just couldn't breathe in there without all the fires open!
We had hoped to hear from the manager but it never happened...

Clean, large room with kitchen facilities. Comfy bed. Great central location. Slight drawbacks, not much info given on check in, and many stairs. Having said that, I would definitely return.

Look we had a great time. If you’re on a budget it’s a great option. Right in the middle of the square. Very difficult to check in. You have to follow a bunch of signs and kind of ask around. We kept calling and no one answered even though they don’t do check ins after a certain time. Rooms were decent and clean.

Great location! Lots of space inside the apartment! Nice balcony overlooking the commercial square. Comfortable bed. Funky, but fun, at a great price.
There's a lot of noise at night - partygoers, delivery or trash pick up, etc. Amenities are minimal: limited dining utensils, no soap in bathroom or kitchen. Sketchy wiring in kitchen, hanging outlet. Sign: "Don't unplug or the building will lose hot water. " Balcony could use a cleaning.
There was no check in orientation. You go to a rooftop bar across the street and the keys and you're on your own.
The three-key system was VERY cumbersome, especially the large church key . Could pose some safety risk.
Overall , I'd say it's a good bet for the budget consious

The location of this hotel is right in the heart of everything. However, it’s not modern, it can use major updates, the door knob is old school a little difficult to open/close the door, but you get what you pay for.

The location of the property is excellent! Right in the heart of Lagos. The room was terrible. The bed was one inch off the ground. The A/C didn’t work and when it did it was spitting fluid. The biggest thing was the smell in the room. It had an overwhelming musty smell (almost smelt mouldy). It made us sick breathing in the air, we were constantly coughing and had sore throats. Would not recommend

The location is very central and the overall experience was good. Our suite did have an older building smell but once you open the windows, it does air out quickly. There isn’t really a reception so make sure you contact them prior to your arrival to make sure they will be available for you to pickup the keys.
Our suite was very roomy and we like the European balconies. Also, they only provide liquid hand soap, so no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. Make sure you bring your own.
Overall, good value for the price. The staff was very friendly as well.
