Room was neat and tidy, dining options were really convenient after a long day of travelling. Pool area was nice and welcome gift of fruit basket was a nice gesture

Front ocean facility with amazing views, excellent breakfast buffet, on site parking, comfortable well equipped rooms, very convenient to public transportation, shopping and dining but the most valuable asset is the friendly, attentive and detail oriented multilingual staff

Parking is inconvenient hard to get to and very limited. Room has nice view but need some updates. Shower is dated.

We had a fantastic stay. Upon arrival, they surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite, which made our trip even more special. The views were absolutely stunning, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and informative throughout our stay. You can really tell they care about their guests. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira and will definitely stay here again when I return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal. Being retired, we loved that the hotel was adults only. We would highly recommend staying here.

Loved the ocean views and listening to the sound of the waves at night! Comfortable, spacious, clean room. Nice outdoor areas for sunning or relaxing. Not much parking available but the hotel is in a very walkable area. You can easily rent a car for the day nearby if you want to explore the island.

I stayed at Regency Cliff a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. I was not disappointed this time and will certainly stay there again. The staff are very helpful. The food is good, cleanliness first class. Nothing not to like. The views ftom the balcony were exceptional - so relaxing.

Great breakfaste on the terrasse, friendly poeple ... Our room with two balkonies was perfect. View to Funchal and view to the south.

Small, personal.

Das Hotel Regency Cliff in Funchal konnte meine Erwartungen an ein Vier-Sterne-Hotel leider nicht erfüllen. Schon bei der Anreise gab es erste Enttäuschungen: Trotz Flugverspätung und einer Ankunft 22 Stunden später wurde weder nachgefragt, noch ein neuer Shuttle zum Hotel organisiert – obwohl ich das rechtzeitig mitgeteilt hatte. Das Zimmer selbst war ein gemischtes Erlebnis. Die Betten waren zwar bequem, doch das Bad hinterließ einen schlechten Eindruck: Ein abgenutzter Zustand, eine kaputte Duschhalterung und ein wackelnder Toilettendeckel minderten das Wohlfühlgefühl deutlich. Der Fernseher war kleiner als jeder normale Arbeitsbildschirm, und der Sonnenschutzvorhang bröselte buchstäblich vor sich hin. Das Frühstück bot zwar eine große Auswahl, war jedoch wenig abwechslungsreich, was nach ein paar Tagen eintönig wurde. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des Personals, die insgesamt in Ordnung war, auch wenn es keinen besonderen Servicegedanken zu spüren gab. Insgesamt ist das Hotel akzeptabel, aber für ein Vier-Sterne-Haus auf Madeira hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Es sind vor allem die Details, die hier enttäuschen.
