The property was beautiful- nice and quiet- excellent breakfast! Loved that they had walks around the property to truly explore all that it has to offer.

Apesar de ser um pouco mais distante da cidade Peso da Régua (20 min de carro) esta quinta é linda e está muito bem conservada. É a segunda quinta mais antiga do Douro. toda de pedra, parece a Toscana. Única coisa ok é o pequeno almoço que é beem limitado. Mas serviu a gente.

The property is beautiful. Every corners, every spaces on the terrace are designed to give you a stubning view of the Duoro.

Quinta da Barroca is an excellent place for a relaxed family time in Douro or for an event. It lacks some maintenance or improvement in some things (such as the children's park and the sauna/jacuzzi), but the houses and the scenery are great. Breakfast could have some more variety, but it's good enough, the fruit is excellent, apples right from the tree

Stedet er lokalisert på en kjempe fin vingård, men de positive sidene stopper der. Det er en forferdelig frokost med overstekt egg (så mye at de er grå i fargen), utgått kjøttpålegg etc. Heldigvis har du en nydelig utsikt mens du spiser. Dusjen er umulig å dusje i ettersom vannet hopper mellom kaldt og kokende varmt hvert 5 sekund. Du er heldig om du får vasket håret ordentlig.

Schöne unterkunft. Sehr ruhig gelegen. 2 Zimmer direkt am Pool war sehr cool für 2-3 Übernachtung. Nur das das Bad keine Tür hatte war nicht schön. Eine Schiebetür wäre durchaus machbar.

Nous avions réservé le chalet rustique pour avoir la vue sur la vallée. Cependant, les énormes toiles donnant accès à cette magnifique vue étaient défectueuses et ça, pour les 2 chalets. J’aurais aimer être avisée. J’aurais probablement opté pourbune chambre moins dispendieuse!

Magnifique endroit!

Wat een gaaf complex op een bijzondere locatie. Als je rust zoekt met een mooi uitzicht is dit de juiste plek. De kamers zijn mooi en compleet ingericht. Het zwembad is mooi en er staan heerlijke ligbedden bij. Het personeel is heel aardig. Bij het inchecken werd alles goes uitgelegd en we werden naar onze accommodatie gebracht en ook daar nog een keer uitleg gekregen. De accommodatie staat op een heuvel tussen de druiven- en kersen velden, welke je zelf mag plukken. Er zijn ook mooie wandelroutes uitgezet om de wijngaarden. Wij hebben een heerlijk veeblijf gehad op deze bijzondere plaats.

Great amenities and breakfast was good. The pool was great for those hot days.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Truly loved the Douro Valley and seeing all their orchards. Breakfasts were perfect and dinner was always delicious. Highly recommend. Great location to get around and see all the valley has to offer.

L’impression est mitigée. Le lieu est juste magnifique : la quinta avec ses bâtiments en pierre est perchée en hauteur au milieu des vignes et des vergers. La vue et le dépaysement sont au RDV. La piscine est très agréable : sécher sur un transat en regardant les collines avoisinantes est très relaxant. Dans les déceptions : notre chambre était bruyante parce qu’on entend les canalisations des chambres voisines. De plus, elle fait partie des 4 chambres qui se trouvent au-dessus de la salle servant au petit déjeuner et au dîner. Donc réveillé à 9h tous les matins avec les premières personnes venant prendre leur petit-déjeuner. De plus, nous avions aussi choisi une Quinta pour déguster leur vin. Et là nouvelle désillusion : rien d’organisé comme le suggère le site Internet. Et quand on demande, on sent que c’est compliqué…

I loved the hospitality and how friendly all the employees are. The rooms were clean. The only complaint was the breakfast. They only do one round of eggs and if you are not there early you will not have any. Breakfast runs from 9am to 11am. If food is not going to be available after 10 then guest should be aware so they can make other arrangements. We stayed there 4 years ago and it was great.

Bom hotel, porém longe de tudo, e tivemos uma péssima experiência com o jantar, escolhemos o menu do chef, porém não agradou em nada.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great to go on trips around the Douro valley. Our daughter loved the pools and we would highly recommend the picnic. Overall a great stay. We would recommend the property get new tennis racquets, balls and bike tune ups but other than that, this spot was perfect.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms and area are beautiful. Some staff were extremely helpful. As we only speak English they called taxi's for us and arranged a private wine tasting. The included breakfast was very good with both hot and cold options. I will say if you are not traveling with your own vehicle then it is difficult to get anywhere and your only option for dinner is with them. Although very good, a little pricey at 30€ per person, not including any drinks. But you can add on a wine tasting of their delicious wines for 10€. And if you're lucky you get a visit from their very cute and vocal cat.

Site exceptionnel de beauté, chambres d’un grand confort, excellent déjeuner et le souper gastronomique disponible sur place est à recommander. Personnel très accueillant.

Foi tudo muito maravilhoso. Já estamos planejando voltar.
