포르토 시가지와 다소 멀었지만, 걸어서 이동 가능한 정도였음.

리버뷰가 예뻤어요 방이 깔끔하고 조식 맛있었고 크게 불편한점 없이 잘 지냈습니다 추천해요

호텔 위치도 좋고, 청결도도 좋고 다 좋았는데... 체크아웃하기 전날은 수건을 제대로 안갖다놔줘서 조금 불쾌했어요... 어차피 혼자고 마지막 날이니 남아있는 수건으로 쓰기로 하고 그냥 넘어갔어요. 그런데 제가 마지막날 저녁 일찍부터 불을 끄고 잠을 자기 시작했는데 갑자기 9시 30분쯤 누가 방문을 두드리며 룸서비스라고 외치더라구요. 저는 룸서비스 시킨 적이 없으므로 옆방인 줄 알고 그냥 있었더니 갑자기 방문을 확 열더라구요... 깜짝 놀라서... 룸서비스 안시켰다고 하니.. 샤워하느라 소리 못듣는 줄 알고 방문 열었다고 미안하다고 하더라구요... 그 뒤로 그 사람이 계속 밖에서 이방저방 룸서비스라고 외치며 노크를 하던데... 룸서비스가 방번호도 제대로 모르고 온건지 아니면 다른 의도가 있었는지 모르겠네요.. 보통 룸서비스는 문열어줄 때까지 밖에서 기다려야 할 것 같은데... 방문에 보조잠금장치도 없어서 그 뒤로 무서워서 잠을 잘 못잤네요... 그래서 프런트로 전화하니 룸서비스쪽에서 받는 것 같고, 상황을 얘기하며 뭐라 했더니 미안하다고 하길래... 직원임이 확인되서 겨우 잠들었네요...

Excellent location and some Lisbon friends joined us and we ate dinner at the hotel and it was good.

Our room was a river facing room. The hotel had unique artwork everywhere and an offered a great breakfast. Our room was spacious, the staff was lovely and helpful. About 15 minute walk into the thick of the city.

Esplêndida, muito bem recebida com toda atençao as minhas solicitaçoes. Quanto a localizaçao, a exposiçao de grandes obras de arte, numa criatividade invejavel em cada detalhe do hotel. Os funcionarios foram escolhidos com esmero. É um cantinho bem Luso, bem Porto com o fundo muito bem inspirado. Parabens Vila Gale Ribeira!

We liked that it is by the river. Our room had a view of the courtyard and we were gone for the majority of the day so view not important but it was nice if using dining area. The breakfast was adequate but they need to have coffee out all day since there is no coffee maker in rooms. One night they were busy in the dining room and the front desk person was working in the restaurant so has to wait to speak to her...they seemed to be short on employees but maybe they were just busier than usual in the restaurant that night. Our room was a good size, comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning when working. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Our last night it wasn't working but within 20 minutes the problem was resolved. The shower door leaked but we just put extra towels down to soak up and let staff know when we checked out. Staff were all nice and helpful. We had a very early departure on last day and they arranged a taxi for us and had breakfast boxes for us. The taxi driver was on time, professional and reasonably priced. It's only a 10-15 walk to all the action downtown. Overall, a nice place to stay at a good location.

En líneas generales buena. La zona de estar-cafetería comparte espacio con la recepción, incomoda mucho el desayuno con la entrada y salida de maletas. La ducha tipo cuarto no es apropiada para un 4 Estrellas. El emplazamiento incómodo para acceder a la zona centro. La traslación precio-calidad un poco alta.

Hotel bem localizado no Porto em frente ao rio Douro. Aconchegante e confortável. Pessoal amável,delicioso e variado café da manhã.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel, good value and helpful, staff were quiet good, in fact. Food was very average and the area a bit suspect. I was told not to leave anything valuable in the car which was left out the hotel overnight. The rating would be higher if I had not been there with a car.

Excellent property

The property was pretty nice, the manager was questionable, and the location around the property was good because it was close to the city center, walking distance from the city center and near everything you needed.

Breakfast was nice. Cooling option was not available in our room. We were told AC availability was floor by floor rather than room by room. Felt like we were being put off. Privacy in bathroom is not good. Would not recommend to people traveling with friends.

Porto was a brief stop on my way to walk the Camino. Vila Gale was a wonderful and unique hotel. The room was comfy and modern at the same time. The rooms are also themed which add an additional dimension. The staff very friendly and breakfast was utterly delicious!

Amazing! Great location, excellent food and service! If you're looking for somewhere quiet, but not too far from the main attractions then this is perfect!
