The hotel is as clean as it could get being that it’s near the ocean and in Vieques. The room was charming with everything we needed. The water did drip in the shower. It was located in the perfect place right on the Malecon. We were able to walk everywhere in Esperanza.

The only thing that was ok is the location. The room was moldy. There was mold in the air conditioner and in the bathroom and shower which is disgusting. The room was not clean and there were even hairs in the shower ! The hotel is unstaffed the only person that we saw was a man who was not helpful at all, he did not even say hello and they are not there after 5 pm. When I finally got an answer to be changed room they just said that unfortunately there are not any other rooms for 4 and they did not address the mold issue or propose any other solution. There are lamps just over the beds and you can hit yourself in the head with them! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

This guest house is very well located. Our experience was not good. To begin with, we were given a room different to what we had booked, and which had a lot of mosquitoes. When we tried to reach the management, they had closed the office (it was Sunday so not strange). We reached out to the manager via email, and the response was that we could not be given the room we had booked because it had an issue with it, however, we were not notified of this even when they had enough time for this. The door had a wide space at the bottom and mosquitoes kept getting into the room. In addition to this, the hot water faucet was broken, and the water kept leaking the whole night, not very conducive to sleeping. The second day we were given the right type of room and it was better. The girl at the office was super helpful and super nice, we could not be more happy about that. This new room had access to the balcony and some seating outside which was nice.

Bathroom in desperate need for repairs and cleaning, sink faucet barely trickled, mildew all over BR and shower....

I guess you get what you pay for. The room was old and musty. Shower had mold and I would never stay here again.

Wonderful little hotel,super prepared with French press coffee maker, nicely decorated and conveniently located with shops and restaurants around. BRING cash! For certain things .

The location was good; and that’s it. We paid extra for air conditioner; however, it started to malfunction in the middle of the night. The bed and pillows have a funny smell. Shower curtains have mold. Unfriendly stuff.

The room had far too much light, both from natural sunlight and from an exterior light that stayed on throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the shower had been leaking since we arrived, and the bathroom mat did not appear to be clean. There was also an issue with the late check-out fee. The information provided in the room clearly states that the charge is $25. I informed the staff early in the day that I would return between 2:00 and 3:00 PM. However, when I arrived, our belongings had already been removed, and I was charged $50 instead of the advertised $25. Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to the poor room conditions and the inconsistency in the charges. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

I stayed here twice in the last week! It was so cute and had everything you need.

A nice place to stay close to everything, balcony rooms are not the ones in the front of the hotel facing the ocean. I assumed that was my view, we did have a small ocean view from a side balcony. My overall experience was good . I would recommend this place, old school oceanfront vibe, bartenders are great!
