Nice staff, a large room, many places to rest and perfect cleaning service

The staff was super friendly to offer towels when I asked about it. The room was new and clean. They also offer luggage storage which helped me a lot!!! Thanks again :)

A nice place to stay for a few nights in the city. Quiet. Seven minutes walk to bus and tram. Also within walking distance of Old Town, Piata Romana and University Square. The hotel turned out to be the private room part of a hostel. Our room was comfortable, with a cool, rustic style. (Though the TV cable guy must have no idea about aesthetics!) Nice bed. Access to a good kitchen (including fridge and freezer) and other common areas. Reception/bar provided fruit and micro wave heated sandwiches. Several smaller restaurants within five to ten minutes walk. Recommending La Cena. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. :-)

The room and the bathroom conditions was little bit "poor"

The property was located quite well. It says on the website that it's a place for people to meet and talk etc, but all I saw were people with their heads down, earphones in on their phones, including the staff. Not a very social environment for me. Staff were polite but not particularly interested in having a conversation.

Good location, helpful staff. Would recommend staying here, good price.

It duals as a hostel and a guesthouse/Hotel. I stayed in the hostel dormitories in the basement. Generally, this establishment is friendly, very nice, clean, and helps you with storing bags and stuff before and after check in. Reception sells many types of drinks. Price is fair. Location is not too bad, but immediately around the hostel, there is not any shops or anything I could find. Its a residential area, with the occasional local restaurant. I walked everywhere when I stayed here. Piata Romana/Metro is 10 minutes, old town 20-25 minutes and Village museum 60 minutes. All in all a great stay and I would definitely consider staying here again next time in Bucharest. If you take tours with a tour company, they will probably be able to pick you up and drop off at nearby Sheraton, only 7-8 minutes walk so this place is good also for that.

The hotel is ideal for its location, affordable in terms of costs, and friendliness of staff. But the mattresses are highly uncomfortable for stays longer than a night (similar to futon mattresses). If you suffer from back issues this may not be ideal.

Albergo decentrato e raggiungibile solo con taxi. Interni mediocri. Stanze ordinate e pulite, abbastanza spaziose e luminose. Nel bagno manca il bidet.

Welcoming, helpful staff. Interesting room decor. However, there was a spot on the sheet, and a towel from previous occupant had been left in the bathroom.

Bel établissement déco sympa chambre moderne grande confortable. Calme malgré gros travaux à proximité immédiate. Accueil bien le soir dommage de lendemain pour le petit déjeuner plus rien à manger dès 8:45. Le seul bémol c est la propreté qui pourrait être facilement améliorée, coulure de café sur la porte de la salle de bain, fuite d eau autour de la douche incrustée vieux papiers alimentaire dans le petit placard...

Un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre aurait mis les notes au top !

Great place and great location walking distance to bars and restaurants. The room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. Silvana and the other staff were very helpful and approachable. The facilities are great - highly recommended.

In het Mega House verblijf je in een niet standaard hotel. Het personeel is enthousiast en vrolijk om jouw verblijf leuk te maken. Er is goede koffie en diverse gezamenlijke ruimtes en een tuin waar je kunt zitten. Niet onbelangrijk de Wi-Fi verbinding is van goede kwaliteit. Is 24 uur per dag privé belangrijk voor u, dan is dit hotel niet gezicht voor u. Als u een koffie wilt drinken met mensen uit alle windstreken dan is het Mega House top. Slaapkamers zijn schoon, douche en toilet werken goed en kluisjes zijn gratis. Als u Boekarest graag wilt bezoeken voor een paar dagen en voldoende hebt aan een slaapplaats voor de nacht, dan is dit hotel precies wat u nodig bent.

This place does stand out. I had room C with a bathtub and overlooking the courtyard. The room looked very stylish and clean. Great bed and quiet at night. This hotel is a hub, a bar, a partyspace which means there are always nice people to meet. Great place overall.

Omega House is a very nice and clean hotel in a very nice and quite location. It is not very far from the old city (20 mnts walking distance, walk is enjoyable with many interesting houses with gardens). It is managed in an amateur spirit (I am using the word in a positive sense), which can sometimes end up with small nuisances but these are handled in a friendly way. I strongly recommend this hotel. I definitely will stay in this hotel if I revisit Bucharest (which is also much nicer and cheaper than many central European cities I've visited).
