Just loved this hotel. Warm welcome From Amy in reception. And reception smells amazing. Now the room… club room; spotlessly clean: lots of space and well decorated. a wee happy birthday message for our son waiting for us. Had dinner in the hotel; pricing was typical for the type of food: not overpriced! There was a free to use pool table, books and board games. Lots of choice at breakfast

Very good. Shame about the parking charge and cars staying too long in the EV charge points. Sometimes upto 15hrs with no penalty.

Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were great especially David great service. Food was great and the free pool table was an extra bonus. Only down side is having to pay £15 to park the car for less than 24 hours.

Nice room but modular. Couldn't find coffee facilities as the were on a shelf in wardrobe which was odd. There was coffee machine but you had to take it out of the wardrobe to fill it which was awkward. Breakfast was nice enough and relaxed self serve. The bar food was average. Strange burger bun that was pink hard. Couldn't have breakfast last morning but they made me a pack up for my train which was nice of them. Bed comfortable but pillows a bit flat. Overall a pleasant stay.

Des chambres vastes et très bien équipées. Nous étions près de la machine à laver et du sèche linge ce qui m’a permis de faire un peu de lessive avant de repartir. Très agréable ! Il y avait de la lessive à disposition donc même pas besoin de prévoir.

Room is perfect bed is really comfortable bathroom really good shower was really good temperature easy to use tv is easy to use and like how they put the restaurant menu for both breakfast and lunch/supper only nitpick is the pillows were a bit too soft

Absolutely loved our room! Spacious. Plenty room to get ready to go out - and storage aplenty

Room was lovely but the air conditioning didn’t work as the battery was flat. Windows don’t open so room was far too hot and stuffy. Bed and pillows were a little soft for our liking.Hotel was extremely busy as there was a show on in the P&J Arena but not enough staff on to clear tables, serve drinks etc. Big cue at bar. Lift broke down in the morning causing cues for lift. Not enough tables for sitting eating breakfast, either carry your food right through the hotel to the other side or eat food at low tables which are fine for evening drinks but no good for eating food.

There are 2 sides to this hotel. Firstly, the good. On the whole, the staff were good. Hotel room lovely with great, easily controllable AC. Windows had blinds. Great shower. Gorgeous soft pillows. Not sure if you can request firm ones though. Bed linen seemed lovely quality. I believe there was ice machines and water dispensers on 1st floor but we were on 4th so didn't see/use it. Small fridge and safe in the room. Had breakfast for the discounted rate of £12 - was £15 at booking but we received an email a few days before offering for £12. You could also pay £12 upon checking in. Breakfast was lovely, if busy. Staff were doing well keeping tables turning over and selections topped up. There was a good selection of continental and hot choices. Few GF options as well. Bad points - Parking. It is advertised as £15 first there first served, fair enough. It was full when we arrived and we asked about alternative parking and were directed to 'overflow' parking which was acutally the main surface parking for the TECA....which was £29. No discount for hotel guests. Big difference. Surely the hotel could organise a discounted rate such as what the Marriot at SECC has for the multi storey. This soured a what was otherwise, a pleasant stay. We were there for a show at the P&J. They have security on the door at the end, only allowing hotel guests in, however, even with this, the queues at the bar were horrendous. More staff may have been in order.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, everything was clean and well maintained. My only complaint was that the seating at breakfast was totally inadequate, our cooked breakfast was cold by the time that we had finished a walking up and down trying to find a table to sit at. When we eventually got a seat in was at a high table with bar stools which my wife really struggled at and had to be helped onto. We saw others trying to eat breakfasts at very low coffee tables again not a practical situation. Of all the positive things that I could have said about this hotel the awful breakfast experience will be our lasting memory of our stay .

Room was great, fantadtic for P&J arena across the square. Only minor complaint, no glasses in room for water, so had to take one from the bar downstairs. Overall very good and the showers are worth the rate alone. Amazing.

Room was great - spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. Staff were really nice and welcoming. Breakfast was disappointing with stale pastries and a generally a more limited selection than available previously. We have stayed before and really rated the breakfast so hopefully it was just a one off.

Room very clean. Bed very comfortable. Everything very good. Staff polite & helpful. Evening snack tasty. Didn't have breakfast but complimentary coffee very welcome.
