Booked a suite room with lake view. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself is old fashioned, a little musty, but was clean and tidy. There's sachets of tea, coffee and milk, and some biscuits. The kettle looked clean and I was happy to use it. The view was lovely. Toiletries in the bathroom with shampoo. Shower gel and hand soap. Could have been filled up. Shower was very hard to get the lever up and get the water coming out the head. But water stayed consistently warm which was good. Downside was a drunk rowdy bunch of 60-somethings. They were shouting in the bar area, and I could hear them shouting from my room. Please be considerate to your fellow guests. Breakfast staff man was helpful and super efficient. Bar staff were friendly, quick and tidy. I like this hotel, it could do with updating, but I suppose it gives it some character. Will stay again.

Friendly staff, clean room, hot powerful shower, hearty breakfast and great views of the snow topped mountains - lovely hotel 👍☺️

We spent a couple of nights here and it was great for a base. The food was good but the breakfast was disappointing as there was no Lorne sausage and if you didn’t get there earlier enough the hot breakfast was nearly all gone. The staff were very attentive and very friendly towards us both and a big thank you to James who was very informative. The rooms were very clean but could do with being updated.

Everything was really great. Friendly staff. Breakfast room lovely. Fab entertainment too. Thinking already to repeat the experience same time this new year

Had no complaints about the cleanliness and Staff were courteous enough We enjoyed having back the entertainment which we used to enjoy but since the Covid epidemic we found that entertainment had stopped which put us off booking into the Arrochar Hotel. Mr Holly was a good singer and covered different genres so a good night had by all.

Excellent location, welcoming, warm, comfortable and room has superb view looking onto loch.

Room smelt of mould. Dust everywhere, rust , pubic hair in the bath, ceiling badly patched up after what i assume was a flood. Bed very noisy, entertainment we knew nothing about was on for two of the nights so was very loud until after 10.30pm. Bad sleep and was glad to leave

Checked in and straight back out. Room was awful. Staff tried to offer alternatives but holes around windows, paint off walls.

room wasnt clean when we returned to it, walls super thin, couldnt sleep for the night because of it, too much noise from upstairs neighbours, complained to reception and they did nothing, room was extremely old and not super clean. Would not recommend.

Arocher is a bit dead ! And so is this hotel.. Stayed 1 night, a Saturday in November, arrived around 2pm, A bit early I was told, (3pm check in) The place was dead ! No tea/coffee, drinks. There was no staff, and the bar was not opening until 5:30, pub hours.. there was not even any background music, which may have helped a little, this is an odd place ! Eventually at 3:30 room is ready, ahh no heating no towels, moved to another room, better ! It was warm and towels were present, Did not have dinner, just a snack, Sunday morning breakfast was ok ! Left at 9:30.. This Hotel is a tumble weed pub with rooms.. No life, no atmosphere, definately scond rate.... Shame ! Could be better !

A terrible stay. There was loud entertainment in the bar and it penetrated into the room. It prevented me from sleeping. They eventually moved my room but it took an hour and you could still hear it. The room was cold and the decor was old and tired.

Staff are extremely helpful and very accommodating. They go above and beyond to help. Highly recommend

The room had cobwebs on the lightshades above the bed and around the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Otherwise the room was good and the staff pleasant. However, the food for dinner and breakfast were both disappointing.

Yes the rooms might be a little dated but what a great time we had, lovely hotel in a stunning location. staff very friendly and helpful, food delicious, singer fantastic. Drinks at bar are basic but still something for everyone. 11 of us had a fantastic weekend away, will definitely be back
