A lovely stay in a very nice room. Restaurant and bar staff were lovely and so friendly. Anthony in the bar, who tells us he is new to hospitality did a great job of looking after us on Fri evening and he has natural skills that cannot be taught when serving people. We hope he has a great career.

Another amazing stay

Clean room, sraff were friendly & free parking. Cocktails were lovey but find the food a bit overpriced. All in all, a good stay.

We were checking in really late as our flight was a late one coming in. Friendly and lovely guy welcomed us and checked us in. The rooms absolutely surprised me, great amenities, including slippers. Only reason I am not scoring full marks overall is the blinds in the room are flimsy, we struggled getting them properly shut and had to phone for help. Help came quickly and issue sorted, however they do still let the light in. (We would prefer blackout blinds) Also downer was the lady who checked us out did not acknowledge us, we waited about for someone and then when she came through, she went on the phone (sounded like an internal call) before and without even acknowledging our presence. Would have given it a lower review because of that lady, left sour test. Luckily for the hotel they have a great thing going elsewhere.

Food was very good!

The service in the restaurant was terrible. Food was good though. 40 minutes sat with empty plates. The noise from the wind on the cladding was unbearable and meant unable to sleep. Staff didn't seem to care about this either.

Gorgeous hotel. Loved the vibe and the decor. Everything was spotless. So chilled. Will definitely be back.

I’m afraid supper was very poor .The server handled the situation very well indeed . The window blind was broken & the water in the sink didn’t drain away properly- I suspect a slight blockage .

Room was spotless friendly staff. We could also smell Cannanbis constantly in the corridor coming through to room and bathroom. It looks as if other guests were using it as if it was coming through from the vents.

Twin room as away with son. Young female receptionist lacking usual warm Dakota warm welcome. No mention about parking for reg number needed, no asking about dining etc Shower room was an accessible shower wet room with no curtain and water everywhere when it was used. Heated mirror didn’t work and bathroom extractor also not functioning. 1star Twin bed was poor, felt lumpy and didn’t sleep great either of the 2 nights. Checkout again was as underwhelming as checking in, different young girl this time But again no chat or interest all very transactional. Service is the differentiator I believe and exactly this weekend, 3rd time Dakota but very underwhelmed this time sadly. I normally wax lyrically about Dakota but maybe the shine has now worrn off

Clean and modern hotel. Very stylish in it's look. Ideal parking. Check in to check out was great, room excellent and a ideal stay less one thing. Ordered room service rather than eat in the Grill, felt the food wasn't up to the quality expected. £35 for a ribeye that was undercooked and £19 for a burger that had been cremated. That said, breakfast was excellent so perhaps just an off night. Would stay again as apart from a let down for dinner it was overall very good.
